Well that sucks. Was hoping to start on gros ventre and end up at green river lakes for the night. I'll just explore from the pinedale side and see what I can find

You have any trails from that area that you would recommend?

There are tons of loops and little side trails up on top of union pass, lots of different paths you can take to get to Dubois.

@BossFoss , the longest trail I’ve been able to put together in Jackson, is elk ranch reservoir to a dead end back above the goose wing in the gros ventre, even then the portion from Mormon row to the slide lake turnoff is paved and you’re following the power line right away a lot of the time. But it’s a nice traverse of the east side of the valley and gives you lots of different perspectives of the Tetons.

I noticed that the other day looking at an ORV map. Kinda why I want to check it out. Was hoping to put together just a big loop from here to to Moran to green river lakes and back home through pinedale.

Yeah it’s a bummer, USFS seems to see there mission as cutting off as much motorized travel access as possible these days.

I guess I'll just leave this here since it won't fit in the garage...

Yep, it was. I'm sure whoever the first person to look at it was, they were going to buy it. Luckily, that was me, finally. This thing's in great condition - obviously well cared for. Except for the wheels and stereo, everything's stock, serviced at WA Toyota dealers it's entire life. Needs a few things, but all to be expected on a 21 year old vehicle that was a DD. New brakes, new suspension, some seat covers (barely but I'm going to do them eventually) and fluid changes. And it's about halfway to it's next timing belt change.

Thanks for the parts heads up, don't know I need anything at the moment, but who knows as I dig in.

I'll still let you ride in it. :p

It's a '97, so I believe the color is officially "Evergreen Pearl." It is a bit bluer than IJM.

I've got my eye on a purple one here, such a good color. Left a note under their wiper blade awhile back saying if they ever sell it to give me a call.

She loves it. The problem is that, I'm not sure whose truck it's going to be... 'cuz I like it too. Hahahahaha

We have a while to figure it out, we aren't going to sell the Audi until at least next spring I guess.

LOL. Same time as the red truck. :boink:

Did that on a few ourselves. Never got a bite, but did end up seeing one of the trucks I put a note on listed on Craigslist for way less than I expected. Turned out the engine was toast, and it was 2WD.

150ea. Not cheap. But well worth it. Picking up Dan's second medium one and a third for me

I think 19.5" will measure when I'm home.

Best part is how they fit in the bed.

    1537572188147.jpg

Hard to see but they fit exactly between the wheel wells
