oh i thought you had a 2 for some reason..

Might go for a 2 then. Will last a little longer i think than a 1

 

I went and played with a 2 when they came out, didn't like two things: 1. build quality seemed cheaper in my hand. 2. No headphone jack (I think you have to use wireless, or get a USB-C headphone...which then means no headphone+charge at same time)

But, by all means, check them all out and get the one you like the price/perf point of.

 

hm well..that's stupid. What is with that fad? Headphone jacks disappearing and shit.

 

I have the S2, it has a headphone jack. Being retired and living in a weak signal (Verizon, any other provider would be the same) calls in/out once in awhile, text is a little better. A new phone wouldn't make much difference. Mostly use apps anyway.

 

I had an s3 for ever. Im the same way. Really don't use a lot of apps. Few things i use at work now though that are handy here and there.

Where i work I dont even have cell service haha just wifi.

Bluetooth sucks donkey dick. Its bitrate is depressing for audio. I never use my phone for that though so whatever.

Well i think most of the 2.0 icons like that are a 9.125'' shock. Should be okay with the lift you have. I think. But no idea.

And...why aren't you just undoing the lower mount and letting the shock fall out? haha thats how I do all rear shocks..

 

For that situation I do this, well, I have to now on Frank no matter what especially for the front.

Jack the truck up and take the wheels off, for the rear jack it up from the diff. then lower it down to a safer height for the jack stands. I like putting mine on two 6x6s and at the lowest setting. Usually the hubs end up just up off the ground a few inches. Granted that LT..but I do the same for the rear.

Was surprising to rotate the tires on the little truck and have the frame normal height. Didn't need the 6x6s haha

 

yes i know. You forget Grant has a 4runner and I've done the suspension on it twice now.

It works just fine doing it that way with the runner too. How we swapped springs.

 

What you did there.

I still have my original bolts around here somewhere if you want them. This assumes they are the same on a tacoma and a 4runner.

 

I look for them when I get home.

 

I also forgot but a simple way to reverse the drop is to just put the spacers up on top of the crossmember ha
