if it lasts me 4 years or more. I'll be happy haha

Glad i got the 128. I don't think i'll use all of that but would rather not worry about it.

Seriously stupid how phones don't come with expandable memory anymore.

Hey Dan, remember how my spout wouldn't fit in your gas filler? Same on my 95. Just bought a 3/4''x3/4'' Barb though and that solved it easy for me. Bought new hose too that should last longer. So still can make a spout for like 10 bucks.

Well dang looks nice! I'm so far from considering a project that's not the house right now... Sadly I could have finished that LS 944 dream already with what we've got into our reno . There will be a day!

Talked to the guy with the boosted double cab. Gonna go check it out.

Never changed a part on it haha all original everything.

Though has had Toyota do all the service at the mileage intervals. Not sure if they do tie rods and stuff at that. Gonna have to look it up.

me too. Almost want to talk to the dealship. I wonder if he has receipts for all that. No way he went that long without the tie rods at least getting changed.

Definietly lots of stuff. But for me..a lot of that will be replaced anyways..or needs replaced on Frank as is.

Idk yet. Not 100% sold on it.

I asked if he had ever gotten the blower serviced. That's when he said all he did was take it to toyota and let them do it.

So that thing could be on original oil..and bearings haha

Im not sure Toyota would service that themselves really..

Not super worried about the motor personally. He's an older guy and used the truck mostly to get from Billings to his ranch up by Nye. Just lock in the CC. But hell if I know. I think the motor is probably fine.

The blower itself might be..well..in need of love haha

for 4k Id take it. See how the guy is about it. I guess he's gotten a lot of people that want it for the parts and he doesn't want that. I wanna use it so he likes that. Just bought a 15 taco to replace it. Still driving this guy until it sells.

Truck was great. Few dings here and there. Drove really nice. Seemed mechanically stout. Had literally every option possible besides TRD headers and exhaust I think. Electronic adjustable boulster for the driver seats. The seats were different than Igors, much more comfortable. Interior was super clean.

Liked the sun roof too, that was cool. Blower pulled hard. Not as fast as Frank but Frank is overgeared.

Didn't make an offer on the spot. Guy likes me though and said lots of people had called to buy it for parts. He doesn't want that to happen and liked I was a toyota nut.

    So

Buy it. Sell the SX truck. Drive it as is and make Igor into Frank

Buy it. Start putting Franks parts on it. Eventually sell Franks carcass as a something. Or I'd keep it as a parts truck..

He said to make an offer. Im not sure what to offer. Id buy it for 4k. But don't want to low ball him and insult him. It is a nice truck..

Do most of the work in Powell on a weekend here and there. Be my only option really until I get my own or it warms back up.

Working on cleaning the garage up to at least to be able to pull in a change the oil on flat dry ground for the other vehicles.

No doubt. I mean I wasn't really ever planning on Fixing frank while up here that much. Too much needed done.

But this would motivate me a bit. But not a ton for what I want to do. It wouldn't take much to unbolt most the stuff and bolt it on this truck. But its the stuff like boxing the frame, rear shocks, front end reinforcement that would take time.

My other option is to buy it. And wait for the shop to do this idea. I mean, i doubt i'll find a fully loaded double cab with blower anywhere else for this cheap. It was a clean truck.

Sadly I don't have a phone still..so no photos of it. It's not perfect by any means, but I can't afford a perfect double cab and don't want a perfect one haha Im turning it into Frankenstein after all.
