Lol you will go on a bender for sure. I knew I would eventually finish it so I just leaned into and enjoyed the fact that some nights I wouldn’t go to bed until 2am. Before it I was usually asleep by 10 lol

    wow thats cool. Sounds fun.

JBLs are nice. Id look at QSC too. We have Alcon's but I promise you thats way above your budget. Amazing sounding boxes though, ribbon tweeters.

From the looking I’ve done it’s hard to find Alcons for sale in America, and even a price list in US dollars. The other thing with PA systems is figuring that break even point, paying 7k a show for someone else to do everything, vs. dumping up to 200k in a system having to hire techs and at least one sound engineer, plus probably two semis just to get it around (thinking lights and stage too) and the fact that I really can’t quit my day job...7k a pop starts to seem really cheap.

Yes be much more economical to rent it out. I can tell you our Alcon system was over 100k I think and it's only 2 amps, 6x2 arrays and 4 subs haha not cheap.

And you're talking way more than 200k for a stage and trucks plus the system. Then yeah personal is a whole other thing. Can't be a lot of local talent for something that big.

So yeah. Renting could be the way to go. If it was a permanent install I think you could justify it in ways

I was only thinking a 24x20x16 four poster for the stage and leasing common carrier for the semis, but then where does the gear live when it’s not on the road? It’s a lot of details and probably makes more sense to hire out sound, stage, light for a couple of years, but the sound engineer part of it sure would be fun.

Yep exact truck but I don't have air conditioning. And I have like 4x the miles haha paint isn't that good either. That one is super clean.

Seriously the most fun Tacoma I've ever driven. Great little truck.

Mine needs some love mechanically but it's great otherwise. Plan on adding air conditioning and cruise control. Sound deadening too. Would love to boost it too but that's for later.

Thing is going for a lot of money!

I know you’re a tall dude like me, Monte, but how well do you fit in that truck?

I’ve been thinking that a reg cab 4-banger would be a badass dedicated crawler build someday (ala @1999RegCab).

ha man, FPS games now are just getting better. BAttle royal has been added to most of the main titles and if being the last guy alive after 100 doesn't make you sweaty then there is no helping you. Def recommend the new call of duty black out, they nailed that game. Battle field 5 has done an awesome job with mass multiplayer too. I upgraded to the new xbox and 65 inch 4k tv, literally looks beautiful and plays amazing.

I fit great. Was actually surprised how roomy it was. Mine doesn't have the center console in it which helps I think. Didn't come with one and I honestly don't miss it.

I can still lean the seat back a tiny amount to make it feel more relaxing vs upright more for concentrated driving.

    I love that truck.

Man...thats my weakness. I LOVE FPS. Big COD fan from back in the day and Halo. Would love to play the new COD but think Id play way way too much of it haha

Im a FPS guy only really, halo, gears, cod, battle field, anything like that I grew up spending hours on it. Finished school went to sports practice, ate dinner, did home work, played games. For like 10 years straight haha. But really this new addition to games and the battle royal mode has made them even more of a blast at how intense the last 5 minutes gets.

    PBUG Looks fun too.

I was a huge COD guy on PC. In the League for a while. Was super fun. Hundreds and hundreds of hours in COD4 and MW/MW2. Was fun stuff. Lots of Halo at friends houses too but I never have own a console so that was the big part for me was visiting friends for halo parties. Made it more than just a video game really, nothing like 10 guys shooting eachother in Halo until you all brawl in real life. Then laugh it off, go get some candy at 2am and play ding dong ditch the whole way home hahaha. Kind of odd to think about all the time spent though that could have been spent on other things..

    Oh well hahaha

    Titanfall looked great too.

I failed to mention that a big part of me losing online interest was my internet connection. I had radio internet for many years because #wyomingrurallife and getting murked all day due to laggy connection made for an easy walk away. This also didn’t help with the new games always requiring a massive update that would take letting it download all evening and night to finish. I’m sure I would enjoy a good battle royal if I re-upped my gold status, let it go inactive when I realized I didn’t need it for Netflix.

Wyoming is catching up, but only if you live in town. Out of town is still a crap shoot. One of the reasons that makes Wyoming what it is even though at times is frustrating.
