On all the Taco's or just Frank and Red?

In my research, it looks like the part number is the same for both (

$13 90341-24014 Front Differential Drain Plug

90341-24014) and that early model trucks came with 12mm, but the part has since been updated and is now 10mm (starting with the introduction of 98 or 99 model years, it seems). Found a bunch of folks complaining that the same part# used to be 12mm. Opposite problem of me .

, and I wish I could just buy a hex head replacement for both trucks...but man, the only one I found is super pricey.

 

Haven't done Igor's so I'd imagine Frank's and lil trucks are 12s.

Can you get a 12 if you order one for a 95? Or they all 10s now?

Does stuck you stripped it Ben. Gonna have time drop it to weld a nut on.

Doubt it was over torqued. Just heat cycles.

 

My understanding - from the internet - is that they are all 10's now (all the same part number). But, that's from the internet, so who knows.

Nah sounds right to me.

I had to weld the nut I put on pretty damn good to break mine free. It was stuck on there bad. Broke the welds 2-3 times

 

Did you hit it with a hammer first? Always do that for those drain plugs.

You could hit it with PB, let it soak overnight, and then clean out the hex socket portion with alcohol.

Just saw the snorkel thread, first post anyway. How is the fit of that? Looks like it fits with the fender good from the photos.

 

Well drove through our first major blizzard from Powell home. Took almost 3 hours and had to ditch Devin's car half way.

Winter is officially here..

She didn't have snow tires on either. I've been nagging her to do it for 3 months.

Sounds like some of my 4am commutes over togowotee, nothing like going 72 miles without your tires ever actually touching the ground, why I love the 4Runner, happy to do 55mph while plowing snow with the bumper.

Sounds like my commute sometimes. This is the first big storm we've had all year. I've done a few blind runs for sure. The wind is so bad here you can't see more than 10' sometimes when it's bad. Ride the rumble strips home haha
