My pretty paint is your Igor. :luvya:

But how? Here's a crappy photo, but you can see that the resi is hitting the body mount already. Can't move it any further forward.

    upload_2019-1-16_21-47-9.jpg

Edit: maybe I just figured this out myself looking at the photo. Can I adjust the fitting at the top of the coil where the hose connects? angle it out slightly more?

    Yep move the fitting.

DO NOT LOOSEN IT. You'll loose your nitro. But should move. If not. Twist the residents so the hose get a bend in it. Slide it more towards the coil and zip tie the hose on the bucket

Everything is going to fail. You can cure it either through preventative measures, or your ability to fix life’s curveballs. Everything...and I mean everything is going to break.

Your front suspension looks awfully familiar

After my little incident last year, I shortened the hoses and moved the resis to a vertical position next to the UCA. I looked at doing it the way you have it set up but I think my tires would rub there, and I feel like they’re better protected from rocks and whatnot higher up.

And those hoses are crazy tough. Incidental rubbing on the smooth coil springs would take about a million years to wear through one of those.

Me? I looked into those MCM brackets you told me about, a couple guys on here who run them said it was super hard to get everything to fit, they were basically still in prototype phase. Have to get more 90 degree fittings for the resi, bend stuff out of the way, etc.

I was messing around with them and they bolted up pretty easily like I have them, so I'll run like this and see how it goes.

Yeah, I tried twisting the resi already and it didn't affect the part of the hose that touches - it's too close to the fitting on the shock. Also, seems like a zip tie to the bucket is the same as a little rubbing on the spring.

Interesting. Didn't realize you had the SPCs too. LOL, maybe now I need to pull my stickers. "AnonyDan's" unite.

I'm hoping to not have issue with the tire hitting since mine are smaller/narrower, but we'll see. The one thing I'm a bit worried about is if I get something with more backspace, to pull them back under the flares...then I'm that much closer to the frame.

What did it ballpark cost you to re-do the hose and fittings? Where do you buy that stuff and what size am I looking for? (for my future reference)

What's with you and "residents"? Twice you know... :p

Mine came with some mounts, but they aren't the MCM mounts, despite what ADS told me (that they use the same, from Matt). As I looked into it more, I discovered the same as @drr - not only do you need the different mounts, you also need different fittings to use those mounts. So, depending how this setup goes, maybe that'll be part of a rebuild in the future.

Yeah, but that part of the spring also barely moves...anyway, I'll have a look at it.

New hoses were $40, the new fittings came with the new resi’s (which were ridiculously expensive). I had ADS do it all and change valving for more rebound control at the same time. Not sure what size the fittings are, I’ll look at the build sheet and see if it says.

    Stuff. Also things.
How do you like your SPC arms so far, Dan?

I’ve got a set that’s going on as soon as I’m done with all the other front end stuff I’m working on.

cause its so long that once you put it on your rack the dogs won't be able to stick their heads out and you won't be able to grab stuff without taking the shovel off.

Id get a shorter one that you could potentially just stuff in the truck up against the cab by your OSK so its not really interfering with anything else on your setup.

I see Tylers rubbed off on you.

Just mount it high or low on your rack bars, not in the middle (I’m sure you knew that), dogs won’t give a shit.

I’d prefer a long handled shovel, more comfortable to dig, or lean on depending on the type of dude you are.

Are aftermarket bump stops worth having? Guy is selling a set of Timbren rear bumpstops with the U-bolt flip plate for $100.

My truck is an '11 double cab long bed. It's got an Old Man Emu Nitrocharger suspension with OME Dakar leaf springs. Bed is empty in the winter, but has the RTT and rack mounted all summer. I tow a water trailer 3 days a week year round. It is a daily driver, so sees a lot of pavement; our weekend adventures are BLM and Forest Service dirt, so ruts and washboards but no rock crawling.

    Would I notice any difference?
Are the replacement u-bolts readily available to fit the flip kit?
Worth the money for something that was on the previous owner's truck for 4 months?

    Thanks!

    Doubt they are bad.

Worth it? Eh. Idk. Depends mostly on how you drive. If you like going fast on your adventures they can be helpful yes. If you don't like putting the pedal to the metal. Don't worry about it.
