Is there some bet going on I should know about?

Dangerous for sure, but not technical. Shoshone is harder IMO, just not an imminent risk of death the whole time.

That's a fair assessment. Both are stuff fun. Would like to do both this summer again. Been a while since I've done them

Well someone needs to go see if the bench is still there at Shoshone.

Close enough for a weekend trip, so certainly keep me updated.

Planning on hitting Morrison again this year, but it will be the middle of a week long trip with not much planning and lots of fishing involved. So won't be exactly sure when I'll hit it.

I think everyone who's been on a trip with me will agree - I found the perfect old-man ladder rug when I was wandering around Sears yesterday... (as one does?) :rain:

I realize there’s probably a better place to ask this but,

What’s everyone’s opinion of the Sony a6000 camera?

I just landed another job and think I might actually start putting a little away to get a “Made it through another year of school gift”.

The a6000 serise is nice. That's an older model now. I believe @BabyTaco and @joshipps shoot with the 6000 though. The 6500 is the newer one and is an excellent little camera.

I missed the moon. Got hit with a snow storm last night. Still snowing.

Are mirror less cameras more durable than the regulars? Is that even a real fear to have?

Obviously I’m not planning on dropping it or anything but it might get bumped around a bit

I beat the shit out of mine (on accident) and it has held up fine. My first mirrorless did die after a fall from the roof of my truck. I got the A6000 afterwards and haven’t looked back. It’s been out in heavy rain for short periods uncovered and survived as well.

Alot of factors involved with how much abise a camera can take. Generally though it's not the body you ha e to always worry about it's the lenses.

Full body Dslrs at a certain price point have metal frame reinforcement and are very durable. More so than the lenses.
