I don't like letting Chinese lithium garbage sit anywhere unattended, has a bad habit of catching flame. Also those don't like to work in the cold because well, lithium doesn't like to work in the cold.

I just don't want one near my vehicle when it does, much like those cheapo jumpstarter packs.

We've seen those packs go thermonuclear and burn trucks down, and a local AZ guy caught one right before it went up in flames and burnt his cruiser to a crisp. He got lucky and just needed a new seat cover and an interior cleaning. Those packs are hard to put out too without a neutralizer

 

Employing this method then

 

Coil buckets and bent shocks can be replaced. A bit harder to glue together ashes

 

An aluminum coil spacer never once burnt a Tacoma to the ground. Just sayin!

 

This is truth, I dunno how coil spacer got brought up even. I'm figuring it was a weak deflection. We all know they're a bad idea anyway.

I have one of those Noco jump packs that's been sitting in my truck for 3 or 4 years. Never used or charged since new.
My battery went completely dead last month, as in not even the dash lights would come on, and that thing turned it over in 3 revs. Pretty impressive really.

 

It is amazing how much crap will be there. I am sure you will find something you 'must have'.

 

Put a real chip on your shoulder eh? Haha, I'll drop it in any event, my only intent was to warn. When the much more stable LiFe polymer become more popular you bet I'll have one. Until then dual batteries will have to suffice.

I don't think it's the batteries that are the fault here pretty sure China makes basically all the lithium batteries used in pretty much all electronic devices. I'd be willing to be that it was faulty electronics in the device more than the battery
