    I think If I wanted that lens I'd go this route. When I put it in the shopping cart, the price for the kit was $979. That's the same lens right?

    I knew Monte was, but didn't know you were too. Last I knew, you were using that 18-55 kit lens along with a long zoom. Can't recall the specs on that one.

    I've seen your stuff get so much better in the last 9-12 months. I'm beginning to understand why.

    I only used the kit lens on the De-Tour. Didn't like it that much since was generally shooting right between the two lenses in the kit (18-85mm on 8-55 and 55-250 kit lenses - super PITA)

    +1 on the lens; it's awesome.

    Thx on the editing. Some of it, I think, is learning the software better - little tricks here and there to make various bits pop easier. And when it's easier, I'm willing to spend the time to do it, where I wasn't before.
