Yeah a quick Google didn't show much.

That said if round up is what they normally recommend (like always  ) than I'd be surprised if chaparral didn't nuke it.

I mean I paid 500 for a similar truck but no drive train. And was a 5 lug. Plenty of parts there to offset the cost potentially too.

Trying to find out if there’s anything wrong with the cab.

And then find out where I can get time to swap everything over...

    Clean southern Utah frame though

My problem is time and space, but this is probably the best option of saving the 99 so far.

The transmission and tcase is likely worth $500. You should easily be able to make that up in what you have leftover and then some.

I consolidate after I get a few of similar weight. Right now I have a 4qt container filled with misc 5w and 10w 30 left over from oil changes. Made the shelf smaller. And as a bonus I don't have to buy the extra quart for a while now haha

My 288k mile engine looks nearly new under the valve covers, and I use whatever oil I feel like buying that day. Mostly conventional.

Interesting tests, but doesn't necessarily matter for real-world applications. :notsure:

Walmart or Amazon dino oil for me, whichever is cheaper. It gets changed at 4200mi no matter what so it doesn't matter.

Syn vs conventional question I'm curious about is what is best when temps get up there. Like running the interstate in hot weather for long periods at higher coolant temps. Like 205-210. Can conventional handle that fine if changed every 3k miles?
