The wife and I are. We started watching season 3 but didn’t make it through the season 1 & 2 recaps before realizing we needed to watch them again before we started in on season 3. We are halfway through season 2 now, so we will be into season 3 in a few days.

Hmmm wonder what application that would benefit? My 1/4" surge impact has a setting for putting screws through metal by varying the speed.

Pretty sure it spun a bearing. Trying to evaluate my options.

Don't still have that supercharger too, do you?

I personally don't like the Milwaukee's with the detent pin. It's a pain to get the socket on. You need to basically hammer it on. Maybe it'll get easier with time but I found it annoying especially if your switching between sockets. If you happen to line the hole in your socket up with the pin your going to need something to depress it to be able to remove it.

I've never had an issue with the ring but I will say my roommate has lost 2 of them somehow.

I've got the 3/8s 210ftlb model and it torques lug nuts to right around 85ftlbs I've found. Mine does act funny from time to time. The trigger never seems to fully disengage leaving the high pitch whine and the direction can't be switched while this is happening. Need to disconnect the battery, switch and reinstall. Usually only happens with constant use. Intended to send in for warranty but haven't gotten to it yet, might even be too late at this point.

@SconnieHailer Looks like you could have gotten 200k miles on the pair if one of them hadn't been stuck or maybe lube that was missing.

Just looked at eBay, prices have really gone up, got 12 M18 tools and five batteries and the m12 ratchet with two batteries for about $900 a year and a half ago...all new no reconditioned:confused:

    Not a clue.

And it's not entirely dead yet. Seems to run good, and no check engine lights, but judging by the oil, I'm kinda surprised by that. Guessing it's not long for this world.

Saw the photos. I bet if you just fix it you'll be okay. Seemed to have caught it soon enough.

Given the cost and time for a rebuild, not sure it's worth it over buying a used engine. :notsure:

    I do understand that's a gamble though.

Gamble either way. Rolling in new bearings might not solve the problem.

New used motor might have bad bearings already haha

I know you put your truck thru a lot, but I am truly amazed by this. If true, this could bring the 3.4's mystique down a notch or two.

Have you considered having an oil sample evaluated?

@drr has said he too is experiencing high amounts of metals in his oil too. I just figured it was due to the supercharger. Now not so sure.

Don't you put that evil on me, Ricky Bobby!

So what if Blackstone labs says the iron content of my oil is twice as high as it should be?
