My original upgrade plan was

1) Suspension to get rid of the Previous owners spacer lift
2) New rims + tires
3) Armor
4) Boost it
5) Possible regear

But that all changed when I read N0rth's build with his 2.7 boosted

Now it is

1) Boost

I am already saving and I will try to get a good summer job and save as much as I can as fast as I can.

 

I have thought that many many times. Especially when towing boats on the boat ramp. Sometimes there was barely enough to get them out. Then I rode with a friend in his 2.7 sitting on 6'' with 37 inch tires running 5.29 gears. That made me drool a lil bit.

 

he was a first gen and thats just what he said he had I don't know if he actually did but they definitely weren't stock

Yea nothing for 2nd gens over 4.88s

 

Its a shame though he only had the rear regeared and it was beaten to death. He ended up trading it for a 1500 dodge sitting on 12'' that was in worse shape than his taco.

Well, attempted to drive out to Vedauwoo yesterday... made it out to the entrance off 80. I got to say wind gust combined with snow made visibility shit, leaving Cheyenne was fine until we got out there. Seen 3-4 stranded vehicles at the gate, so parked and let the kids eat then back Cheyenne. I actually seen someone not follow the "small trailer" warnings and was on his side WHP was on scene.

 

Probably 2 stops. One in memphis to pick up my cousin who goes to CU. Then either with some family in denver or before that depending on the road conditions. Not matter what though I will end up in Laramie in Saturday.
