I've only been here a month and haven't noticed any modded 1st gens. Most modded trucks I see are brodozers. 20's and MTs for the win right? :notsure:

Hmm couldn't you pour it in through the shifter area? Have to remove all of that but could work.

I'd think it would be fine in the tcase.

I would take the time to use the quart bottle and just keep it full so it doesn't have to be tipped up as high to go in vs. taking the shifters out to pour it in.

Edit: I should clarify mine always had the cone tip so you had to squeeze it to go in and the tip was inside the case.

I always just stuck my hand pump in and pushed on the bottle against the frame, Redline bottles are stupid. But monte is right, it's pretty easy to just pull the shifter and pour until it runs out the fill hole, I do that with the Z.

Also, my LC fixed itself and at this point I don't think I like that. I hate when a problem just goes away, that's not how things work.

Not helpful right now - but the new Amsoil gear oil bags are awesome. I hate using those stupid hand pumps and always end up making a mess anyways.

MT90 is fine in your tcase; no problem at all. Expensive though.

I have those little hand pumps like this one for my quart jugs:
    upload_2019-9-10_11-56-8.jpg

But then I also got one of these double-hose pumps for containers that small pumps don't screw onto. MT90 quarts, it turns out, don't fit the small pumps.

    upload_2019-9-10_11-58-52.jpg

Most of the time, I find myself pouring the larger gallon-sized stuff into old Lucas 80W-90 gear oil containers, and pumping from there.

I've seen those but always feel like that would cause a bigger mess. I never have issues with the small hand pumps.

Maybe I'm the only one that does this but I always had tons of leftovers of 75-90, 80-90, 80-140.... So I just kept a 5qt jug that my pump fit in super well and I pour leftovers in that and use it in things that don't care like differentials

I'd have oil all over my cab if I did it from the inside. It's inevitable.

I'm pretty sure I have one that has both sizes on it. Kind of convenient

    Man tools are getting cool.

Can get desktop laser printers, cnc machine, and 3d printers. Normal stuff.

Just starting to see a desktop water jet cutter..and a metal 3d printer.

    Cool

Yeah..but now I can buy one haha its not cheap, but not that bad either. https://markforged.com/metal-x/?mfa...8LIxEp4rLzmjsvrjn2BNt3dR5-4l7GGBoCEKUQAvD_BwE

The water jet is fully enclosed as most are. Seems like it would be fine to keep in the garage/shop: https://www.wazer.com/

Neither are cheap. I mean not compared to just a CNC machine or a laser.

The point is, they will get cheaper and that is cool.

Id be fine with a laser, cnc, the metal 3d printer, and the waterjet. Though I think a Plasma table would easily replace the CNC and waterjet for me. And those can be head for under 2k now easily. Not including the plasma torch..but still.

No not a mill. There is no cheap CNC mill yet haha most the DIY CNCs just do like wood and aluminum. But the Xcarve is nice.

Plasma tables just use your normal plasma torch. So really its about calibration of the plasma and the tables speed. Might take more time to dial in but would easily make up for buying a pro one. No different than just using a plasma really..

The laser tables you can buy that are affordable aren't cutters...least not steel. More like laser printers. Which would still be fun. For me I have audio gear I'd use it for.

eh. For what I'd want to do with it. It would be fine haha which is cutting a few pieces here and there for truck things.

the Wazer does up to 1/4'' steel so I guess for anything you'd want more accurate you could use that. Just limited on size.

Possibly yes. Not that cheap though.

But Id have a plasma anyways. Way to fucking handy to not have so having a small table would be easy enough.

Not that i have room for any of this anyways right now..

Would love to make an offer on this place: https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/15-Stillwater-Estates-Rd-Columbus-MT-59019/193353069_zpid/

But bit out of the budget for me.
