    Haha I know its gonna be worse than usual because I have a 4x8 uhaul behind me. What I have to do right now is drop to 4th get to the speed I want then switch to 5th to hold it for a lil while just to get rid of the AFE high rpm drone that is terrible.

    Thats what I have been doing. I pass people when there is a downhill stretch so I can get back up to the speed limit and pass some of the slower people. The truck does fine @ 3700 rpm but with the AFE in I can't hear a thing.

    Truth. I appreciate all that stuff the more I use it without that stuff and gain it little by little.

    Plus I'm a firm believe that learning to offroad with no lockers and crawlbox REALLY makes you a better driver.

    Nah that logic is weird..locker are for doing harder shit.

    However...doing lockers while your doing teas just cause why tear em apart twice? Makes perfect sense.

    On a more serious note. I have been thinking about the gear thing and I may already have non stock gears or my speedometer is just wack. If it reads 60 i am actually going 54. It is almost constantly 10% off of what my true speed is.

    Really? Are you not the original owner?

    Locker don't help much ins snow/ice/mud hills haha you still just fall. Nothing replaces a winch in that situation. That said..I need to fabricate some sort of portable anchor like the pull pals..

    Put one rear tire in the air with jack stands and put a dot on the driveshaft and tire in the air and put it in neutral and spin the tire around once and count how many times the driveshaft spins around. The catch is it won't be a whole number... it will be 4.10, 4.30, 4.56, 4.88, or 5.29 times.

    They make them for my rear diff, just not the front. haha. I missed that he was a 2nd gen...


    So yeah. It will be between 4 and 5 times, you just have to decide where at between there.
