Damn I have to remove the whole dash to get to this heater core..hmm. well joy.

 

You'll have it done in 15 minutes. Removing the dash does not take long on these. Just don't forget the little clip that holds the wiring harness to the dash fascia. Otherwise you'll end up yanking on your harness wondering why it's not coming loose

Aside from the issues Monte has encountered, these look really stout and offer a solution (of sorts) for adding caster. Now before Mr. Brett jumps in here, there are still issues with using the stock frame mounts or at least what happens with the bushings.

So who is making heimed UCAs at stock-ish geometry?

 

Cut and weld, not hard to add heims really. They just need a threaded hole to screw into.

I actually wouldn't say that as they would fix a lot of the problem. If I got those, what I would do is square up the alignment cams to help the bushings. It would result it about the same caster, but would be a better setup IMO as you'll get the caster from the LCA and not by maxing out the cams.

TC is the only company making heimed uppers IIRC.

Good price on the solos for sure. Still haven't figured out if mine as a fluke or what. Haven't had time. They are nice but I think you could upgrade the stock ones with the weld on parts from eklien and add secondary shocks to them easy as well. Much cheaper.

But the added castor and clearance is great...
