Did you make sure it was the right height and all? Looks good. Not sure it was needed or not..

They are definitely needed, you can see in Mike's last photo above that only about half the bumpstop was contacting the strike plate. This is largely due to the LCA's being maxed out for caster, but that's pretty much a necessity too.

Dang, we are getting beat up! Made it out fine but the truck is a goner. Probably going to use the insurance money swap BabyT’s engine since we just bought Lizzy a new RAV4.

Yeah I mean I was going 60-65 but they were going 80 still. Every time they pass you kicks up so much shit almost blows you off the road. Can see anything. Praying to God someone doesn't slam into you from behind as you slowed down hoping you wouldn't drive off the road. Good times.

The roads were clear until I hit that section (just had to be a curve). It was so dark that I couldn’t tell until the back end swung out, flew into the ditch, rolled, slide along the hillside and then back into the road where the truck stopped. I wasn’t going fast but apparently I could have drove slower.

It looks bad but it wasn’t a horrible experience. Remained calm the whole time, crawled out by myself and flagged the next guy down. Just wish I could have kept the truck .

Made a little progress today with getting the redhead back on the road. Got the all the trans cabling fully secured and some of the new suspension pieces started. New oTREs and LBJs are ready for tomorrow. Also installed the new trans dipstick bracket that Dan designed.

    .
The extension bracket, along with slightly bending the dipstick tube allowed the tube to run outside of the headers.
