In other news... Today I took the redhead on a road trip to Mazama. She did well without any dramas or hiccups.

I said this before, headers are interesting. Along with the upstream cat removal, the exhaust note is much louder. It is probably my blown out magnaflow contributing to that as well. Unfortunately, there is a drone as specific RPM/speed combinations. I think a new muffler is in my future.

On a very positive note, I am seeing an increase in fuel mileage. Not sure it is just the headers causing that. It may be that the upstream cat was contributing.

sweet! awesome to hear it is officially 100% road ready. Can't say I'm surprised about the drone with the headers. Happened to my Dad as well.

 

Yeah, happened to Dan as well. He added a resonator. I may need to go that route also.

 

Its at least 2, maybe as much as 3 mpg. I'll do the actual math when I fill up tomorrow and then again on the return trip.

I asked about t-mobile because it looks to me that they are doing some interesting things. Have you switched over from verizon?

There were no codes but this is my suspicion too. The engine revs much easier, seems to breath much easier. I am sure the headers help with this as well.

Damn we fixed problems you didn't even know you had. I think we used all our project luck on this one, which doesn't bode well for the LC axle install this weekend.

there are some people that are worried about 5G due to the antennas and how they work. I don't know that much about it personally...but I think it has something to do with much higher wattage used as well as a LOT more towers needed. So there will be way more antennas everywhere pumping out a lot more wattage.

But those people that say that just don't realize how much actual RF is in the air already IMO

 

I just bought a new phone from a company named OnePlus. Ever heard of them? T-mobile sells this phone too.

The 7t (the model I bought) is an unlocked GSM phone that will also work on T-mobile and AT&T with their sim cards.
