    At this point I'm not sure what I want for a rear axle anymore. The 80 series one seems like the smart choice still. And diamond has that nice centered diff housing. But off center is fine too with a dual DC shaft. I dunno maybe I do want your housing. Hubs and gears are easy enough to find. I have so much shit to mock up for the rear but I need an axle before I start cutting the frame up.

    Asking if someone is doing full LT is like telling someone your car build in stages. Means nothing. I'm going to match the rear travel to at least the front, if it cycles more thats great, 14" max for shocks, cause that's what my measurements say will work for structure clearances

    Honestly I think a Ford Evo line van 9" will be cheaper to build than a LC one.

    That might work, I don't know if it's an 8.8 or a 9" but I'd have to find shafts that work with our 6lug pattern. I'm not sure I want to bother with a Ford axle, especially not if it's only an 8.8. lots of shit to choose from around here. I may just find a tundra or t100 in the meantime. They're simple enough to make work. I just need to mock things up, I hate Toyota semi floats, but they're so cheap I can afford to run one until I blow it up and I have a good record of not doing that.

    It's a tough call to make but I'd feel safe running an American axle, they're far and away easier to find parts for on the go and they're built for heavier duty vehicles. Toyota axles with the exception of the LC stuff are weak sauce second only to Suzuki in overall weakness.

    Yeah if you're willing to dick around with the driveshaft to make it work with the compound angle, should be fine. I don't know why people screw around with early Tundra axles, there's no way I'd jump my truck with a semi float axle.

    The off-center diff doesn't work well on my truck, driveline vibes are too much at highway speeds. I could chase it around with a custom driveshaft, but that's a bandaid fix and I'd be halfway to the price of a diamond housing at that point anyway. That's the main reason, but along with that I'd get a stronger, lighter housing with more ground clearance, custom length to match the front, and RCV shafts that I would probably never be able to twist or break.

    I just need a stop gap measure right now. I'm not looking to jump my truck, just get a proper width axle under the thing to get suspension setup on while my wallet recovers from the financial ruin that is the front LT kit.

    Been talking with folks, gonna go with the MCM kit. Not looking to pull massive wheel travel, I'm looking for insane comfort and ability to keep the speed up on rough terrain. But dunes and jumping shit, while certainly possible here and there for fun, aren't the main goal. Thinking I'm gonna pull that trigger tomorrow, last thing I need to clarify are front spring lengths and rates for the ads coilovers.

    There is a specific year of eco line van that has a 9" not an 8.8 that is the perfect width for long travel front.

    I'll try to find it. I know I found one locally in a junk yard for $250 so...yeah.

    Also for some reason I thought you'd already bought the kit a while ago.

    My experience stick with 16" coils and if you're going for a light build weight Wise like last time 650 should be good or even 600. Remember the lever ratio is different on the shocks. I'm running 700s which on Frank were a dream with 0 preload. Igor probably be a bit stiff
