My hope is that when everyone gets back to normal and things in the yonder get less crowded, a year will go by and folks will realize that maybe they weren't all that into overlanding because it's actually just camping. Then, there is going to be lots of instalanding gear that is for sale used.

One can always dream; that's what a GFC is anyway, hahahaha.

 

I think you’re right. As much as outdoor activities have increased over the last 8 months or so I kind of hope it doesn’t last with how crowded everything always is now. Luckily with the Winter coming people still don’t like the cold, so things are starting to calm down in my area.

Although, GFC’s are always popping up for sale too with financial uncertainty lately. Pretty sure that’s the only reason the position I bought popped up. It’ll be interesting to see if the used market price creeps up alongside the new price hike. I’m also interested to know what they really mean by cutting down production time since they seem to say this a lot with no real timelines given.

Used market barely seems to be there, and right now you can demand what you paid anyways given the lead times. But that'll change over time.

 

Guess it depends on where you look. I see at least one per week pop up for sale it seems.

My one complaint so far with the GFC. I wish their roof length was as long as others like Vagabond. It would be nice to be able to leave the bed completely set up in it's full length and still be able to climb up and down. But, given the price point difference I guess I can't complain too much.

 

That roof length really is a huge bummer on the GFC. You should sell me yours for cheap since it has that fatal flaw.
