The thing I like most about the sports is their excellent cutoff. Zero light spill above the cutoff. Also, they are wide. Like really wiiidddeee!

I've got those 1st gen GFC mounting brackets sitting in a box if you still need them. Assuming you're not in a hurry, I'll plan on more fishing/mounting biking/wheeling up that way next year and bring them with. :D

Yeah, no hurry. Need to get the thing on the road before I worry about it. But if you need to be rid of them sooner I'll take them anytime. Send you some money for them.

From the back edge of the transmission crossmember, the front of the front hanger is at 51.5”, and the front of the rear mount is at 116.75”.
If your transmission mount isn’t in the same place as mine, add 7” to those dims to measure from the back of the front cab mount.

Yeah it’s almost not worth it to have to do it twice, thus why mine is still the same haha If I were doing it for the first time I’d french them in, it’s easy enough.
It’s not ideal, but it works well so I’m not complaining.

Yes the yellow is beat for true fogs.

What we are doing it using the yellow LEDs but if you swap the clear lens on the light becomes a nice warm white instead of 6000k super white. Which is nice.

    And what now?

    And bad ass man!

Ahhh no I don't think so but I've never played any GTA haha

But no. Property got snatched up here by lots of out of state folks. Basically no inventory now and process have gotten almost unattainable for me.

But I did get a raise and bonus. And we are talking about becoming more flexible with housing as we are looking to grow our team. Because people don't really want to live here, it's just too remote. But 2-3 hours away they would. So we just have to figure out housing for when folks are on site working and during the summer season when we have to be onsite all the time.

So that should help my situation. I hope.

I don't use auxiliary lights much, but mine work good in snow, heavy rain, and fog so I'm pleased for $45. I still have lots of cubes and light pods laying around my garage, but when I look at the truck and asses what I think I need, I don't find myself wanting to install any more. I want some for the rear, the ones in my bed and two under the bed. I think that's it for me and lights. Anything else would just be for looks, which I'm not above doing but I havent found any stylish enough for that haha

@Blackdawg, the first page of this thread is uh, not accurate haha. Half the members have moved away or otherwise estranged themselves.

Yes. Not that particular brand I don't believe but the same idea. We tested them at work to possibly replace extinguishers for fire watches covering welding work. They are a bit more situational vs a traditional extinguisher IMO. They basically are just a smoke bomb. If you ever lit a smoke bomb on the fourth it's a bigger version you can hold onto. Worked well in fires that were "static" so to speak. Like a stove on fire or a brake fire. But in something like an engine fire or a fire with an ignition source (like hot exhaust and leaking fuel) we found them to not work very well at all. Same we found you really had to be on top of the fire (like within a a foot) so could pose an issue in a under hood fire or fire under the car.

thanks for the feedback. yeah I watched a video of the guy using it and it looked like you had to be really close to the fire.

Yeah you really do. The nice thing is you could light it, place it next to the fire, and back up. Or shove it in your grill and back up.

You have to watch the expiration date too. The ones we tested were only good for two years and then it had to be tossed.

Which reminds me I need to check my extinguisher in the truck. Pretty sure it's older than five years

Hey @BossFoss about this mutli mode tcase. I am just trying to confirm it is one without taking it apart. How did you know it was a multi mode? I've read it's 3" longer than a standard but haven't checked yet myself.

Kick me off! I’m not coming back anytime soon haha. My dad moved out to Clark though. I’ll most likely drive out to visit/fish/explore probably once a year now.

Absolutely loving it and finally feeling settled in here. I’m not sure if this is where we will be forever but it’s a great spot to be right now.

My impression was it has the center locker on it and it came from a hilux surf (4 runner). If it's not and you want to return it let me know.

Edit: Its a possibility that it is just a push button 4wd, and maybe what I thought is a locker is just an actuator for the 4wd??
