The Utah side of the Gorge is pretty cool to look at.

The Wyoming side is good if you wanna camp on the beach.

go snowmobile into yellowstone. if you get a break in the weather, the winter scenery in there paired with some blue skies would be incredible

duratracs in more sizes would be great. I'd rock a set of 34x11s of those.

I'm seriously considering Duratracs for the 2nd gen, even after all the shit I've talked about them. :anonymous:

    haha nice.

I would consider them if they came in a size I actually wanted. They do well enough in the snow I wouldn't need separate snow tires for Igor.

Heading down from west Yellowstone to Jackson Hole tomorrow. My first trip out here (from Georgia). I love this area and am incredibly jealous of all yall.

I can't decide on size either. I'll probably stick with the 265/75 for ease and mileage, but it's very tempting to go to 255s or 285s.

I actually really like the Falken ATs that came on it, but they're P rated...

That's a big part of why I want Duratracs as I know I can run them year around.

I feel horrible for the families that were effected if this is a legitimate issue that Goodyear is trying to hide or ignore. But, the only difference between Goodyear and other companies is that they got caught somewhat and others haven’t. Like you said, all corps are evil.

yeah thats the appeal for me too. I wish they came in the 275/85r17 or whatever that the MTRK does.

I gave the i think the new Toyos a looking at for a bit. But snow performance didn't seem that great. Probably on par with the st maxx which I still think is a meh tire all around. Doesn't suck, but not amazing.

I really want a 34'' tire or so. But not a lot of choices. I also really wanted a C load..

Running my first set of E rated tires and I’m amazed at how stiff they are even aired down to 12.5psi. Been wheeling with some guys that are new to off roading and they’re shocked when I tell them I only run 28psi on the highway. People don’t realize how stiff these things are on a midsize truck.

D's would be okay..i might have to settle for that.

Yeah, that would be a sweet size. There's also more options coming out in skinnier 35s could be an option too. If I keep and don't SAS the 1st gen, that's what I'll go to.

Kendas in 35x10.50 seem to be getting good reviews.

I'm also intrigued by the Maxxis Raxr ATs, and they come in a 35x11.50.

My favorite tire was still my Hankook MTs, which were load range D with a 3 ply sidewall. Wish that was more common, or Cs even. I'm hesitant to go to Es on the new truck.

I'd avoid it if you can personally.

The Nitto's are a 35x11 I think in a C load. Freaking pricey mutha fuckas though.

From my short experience with Goodyear tires on the 02 (2 flats unrepairable flats in 2 months), I dislike them. The only thing I’d like from Cooper is for the price to go down a little.

Unfortunately, acquisitions like this many times have the effect of stiffing innovation and competition and can lead to fewer choices and higher prices and sometimes plant closures and job losses.

Coming in from west Yellowstone it wasn’t bad until the Teton pass. Comin down the backside of the mountain was sketchy. I wouldn’t have been too concerned if I had my truck...but this rental Navigator doesn’t give me any confidence.

We’ll be leaving Saturday. Came into Jackson Tuesday afternoon. This area is great. Makes me want to leave Georgia.
