Well if my theory is right (who knows at this point haven't had much time to diagnose, built an engine yesterday and didn't have the time to fuck with the thing) me turning the oil temperature back up to stock (240F) pissed off turbo seals that were already weak. That or the PCV system (you're in for this one too haha your Mini engine has the same shit design flaw) has finally failed and it was back feeding boost. Only smokes like a MACK truck on decel and after a bit of idle at full oil temp. I went in the tune and turned the oil temp back down to ~190F again and no smoke at all.

The PCV is a common stock failure anyway. Usually 30-40k it'll need a new valve cover, it's a bad design and even the aftermarket ones don't resolve it. Mine would be on its third, only been tuned for 15k.

Yeah it's not a leaking problem, mine don't even leak haha. It's easy enough to change anyway, only scary part is breaking open the high pressure fuel system. Well that and it's a $400 valve cover :/ But it's whatever we both signed on for it, it's still end user servicable and that's what's important in the end. Thinking I'm gonna do mine and toss on a used turbo, and maybe just be satisfied with 400hp. 21psi might've been pushing it with the stock compressor anyway.

Sounds like the turbo is fine possibly and you just nuked your seals. Just rebuild it maybe will solve the issue?

Unless its water/oil cooled then you might be making a yummy mixed cocktail haha

It is a water/oil cooled but those are physically incapable of mixing in the turbo. I think most OE turbo systems are watercooled

    Yep.

I thought so too but with it being programmable I have now figured out how I'll use them all.

    Fogs
    Ditch lights
    Spots(maybe)
    Heated wipers
Marker lights(these are the fogs and ditch lights back lights. Also have switch back relays to make them blinkers)
    Rear strobes

I deleted my post cause I didn’t realize what thread this was.

interested in the heated wipers, haven’t heard of those before.

    I’ve got

    1. Ditches
    2. Some sort of front spot lights
    3. heated 4R mirrors
    4. Some sort front fogs
    5. Reverse lights

and I guess these heated wipers could make 6, they’re be useful.

Yeah heated wipers for snow storms are great. No ice build up ever.

Thought about mirrors. Rarely have them ice up though so..meh.

I didn’t have the problem with the older smaller mirror that are pretty much solid, but with the push button adjusting they got foggy every morning.

and then I broke one and the 4R popped up, and here I am now.

    Things have been slow.

Got some chevy leafs today tho

Also got a new cover for my tent from the garage sale section of Tepuis phone support. Even after being absorbed by Thule their phone support is excellent and they got this shipped out asap.

Still dunno much about my own timeline for truck work but I'm making an effort. Got hired to do a build on a 2nd gen runner so been working on that a bit. Building a bumper and doing all the maint and suspension work to make it a decent wheeler. Only pic I got so far
