It's like a heart doctor turned engineer designed it.

I'm just saying with all the Chambers and tubes it looks like a heart lol

As an engineer, I know there are lots of them out there that have no clue about having to actually use and install things.

And nothing against engineers! It's the same as any profession...good ones and complicated ones

Engineers should have to apprentice as a tech in whatever it is they're supposed to build though. I swear an engineer would climb over a mountain of virgins just to fuck a technician

This is like extra shitty BMW'isms lol noticed the parts I bought don't have the right connector, so I need an adapter because of it's build date. I should have known when I tried to buy wipers and you can only buy them from a couple places online since the connection is unique to 2013 mini coopers alone.

FCP Euro and RockAuto are your friends, I use em to cross reference against each other too. But FCP's phone support is second to none and they're all enthusiasts so the answers you get are typically accurate.

Hello! New to the thread here. I was offered a job in Fort Washakie Wyoming and was wondering if anyone had any insight to the area. Pros? Cons? I was told my best bet would be to live in Riverton or Lander. Thanks!

@BossFoss lives in the area by Lander.

Lander is a cooler town IMO but also pretty much everyone elses as cost of living has gone up there a lot I believe recently. Cool town though and beautiful area.

Cheaper to live in Riverton but further from the mountain. Bigger town though with more going on in it due to the college there. But don't know a lot about that college.

Yea Lander looks nicer and my wife seems to like it more also. She’s read some bad things about Riverton but we didn’t know it’s a college town. Which mountain are you talking about?

Any haha Mainly the Windy's are right there in Lander, like a 10min drive and your in the mountains. Riverton is about 35mins or more. Although you can go the the Owl Creek mountains easier from there. But The Windys are cooler IMO. But less people in the Owl creeks and you can get to the southern Absorkas too faster.

Riverton used to be a bit run down. Think its changed a bit though.

Lander has seen a pretty good influx the last two years with people wanting to get away from larger areas. House prices are high and hard to find a good deal currently. Even though they are only 25 miles apart lander is much different than Riverton. It's not terrible but for sure sees more crime than lander. I'm sure since you would be taking a job on the res that you are aware of the cultural differences and what the area is like. Riverton sees most of that overflow where lander sees some but not nearly as much. I think you would safe in either but lander has more of the small community feel than riverton

Yea I’m aware of the culture. Wasn’t sure how much overflow either area would see so thanks for the info. We would probably rent for 6 month or a year before buying. Do you know how the apartment market is? We looked online and didn’t see much. I may fly out there in the next couple weeks to see the area for myself and report back to my wife lol.
