I'm assuming they are unplugged? Long as you routed the wire nicely it should be okay. But get a fuse ASAP.

Good point. My 2 meter antenna runs along the same path as my amp power cables and when I transmit it makes my my subs hit with a not so nice bump.
Hopefully you can get away with it on a cb with the lower power

Yea it won't be much power so I don't think it'll be an issue.

Right. Should be okay. I just wouldn't make it a habit of running more wires there.

Is your cb power and ground on the main wire for the sub amp?

no just the CB. It'll clean up the interference and your broadcast signal.

i have one  got it for xmas. Think its the same one you linked in here the one time. It's goning on my roof rack and will actually charge my starter battery to make sure its allways charged and i can start the truck.

second battery just charges off alternator. Might put a second panel on it some day but..don't see the need as i have a big enough alternator to keep it good after a day of wheel and the alt will run everything i want by itself anyways if the second one dies.

That's how id wire it, not to the second battery. You'll want a much bigger alternator if your gonna do dual batteries.

Duals are better as the second battery is totally isolated from the starter..so you can have all your accessoreis run all night off the second without having any affect what so ever on your starter one.

For living out of the truck..your still gonna have to start it every day probably just to keep the batteries from totaly dying. Or your gonna one hell of a solar kit that'll be like 6-800 bucks to actually charge them fully and all.

Mine is just a maintainer..and its big.

But also depends on what your gonna be running..

that would be easy. Just route a small two pair of 16 or 18 ga wire to the tent and get a quick usb end and set it up in the tent. Done.

IF your only gonna have the tent lights and maybe charge the phone..you don't need a solar kit or second battery..haha thats nothing..

now if you had a fridge/freezer..maybe a coffee machine..played music for a while at night..that kinda stuff..then you might want that stuff...

but for what you just said..your main battery is fine.

    yes..yes you are haha

the only girl i have ever met that is okay even a little bit with that kinda stuff..is Jessica that gal i brought on first leg. But this would push it i bet..haha

yea water will be tricky..might just have to get a tank wrapped in a blanket...then you would want a second battery..haha

might look into like bed drawers perhaps??

When we got our first toyota, the good ole 86 blue one..it had some weird thing in the bed that was like multicomparment like out of plywood and shit..was even with the bed rails. We tore it out but i think i know what you mean.

but not like you use it as a "truck" truck anyways very much..doubt that'll be an issue.

I don't understand the concern over where the tents power cables are run. It seems unlikely that the CB will be in use while the tents power is in use. The only time the CB's broadcast or receive ability might be interfered with is when power is being drawn by the tent accessories...
