Lol it's all the same to me. I don't really attempt to learn and I don't really care to. I just want it to run well. I just want a "Toyota" PC.

I don't plan to game a whole bunch on it really. Got the sim setup and need to get Photoshop on it and just use it for basic things. The sim has a chat in it I use so ya, not really going to add a bunch of other apps to the PC at this point. I still have the Xbox for other gaming but I really don't play much.

 

So you want a gateway drug pc to learn how to build them yourself? got it.

fair enough. If you ever give splitgate a go or infinite(both free) lemme know.

 

Been playing through the GTA Definitive collection lately. Fun to relive the memories and appreciate how far gaming has come in 20yrs. GTA 3 was a big step forward back then.

 

yeah thats always fun. I'm playing COD MW series. So many fun memories. Halo too.

 

Yeah been working through infinite too, I like what they did with it.

 

I really want to play the new Halo. I’ve played every one up to this point, but I’d really like to wait for my Xbox One to break so I have an excuse to upgrade to the Xbox Series X for 4K…

 

Yes its good. They have a lot to fix on multiplayer but the campaign was fun.

Meh. 4k gaming is over rated especially for a fps.

 

I have zero drove to buy PC games regardless of the gateway PC. It's a powerful piece I hope lasts a decade.

Damn hit a raccoon at 80mph in the insight. Killed it, trashed the radiator. Not sure what else yet. Waiting on the tow truck.

Actually somehow alive and in the wheel well. Doesn't want to leave either. Hoping it dies tonight or somehow makes it and leaves in the morning

On another note..

The fuckin coon lived. I just scared it out of the car, ran off with no visible blood, limps, nothing. Like wtf haha took out the condensor, radiator, and bumper. But hoping that's all as I can do all that mostly myself.


AND

Devin took Igor to work today, and the starter locked up. Wouldn't turn at all. Smacked it free but now the plunger won't move into position...I hope. Hoping my brand new flexplate didn't loose some teeth..



so 2 outa 3 vehicles are Dead haha

Got a new parts store starter to start trying to swap it tomorrow. Will rebuild the stock one hopefully.

 

Sucks to hear how much the racoon took out. We hit a rabbit in West Texas last Christmas on our way home. Took out the bottom half of the bumper, but thankfully it only bent the bottom edge of the radiator without causing a leak. Too many times I've realized it's always nice to have 1 extra vehicle for times like these.

 

Yeah i mean it was a big coon honestly. Fat bastard. Basically a bowling ball at 80mph so not that surprised at the damage, but I am SHOCKED it lived haha

Yeah just rough guesses right now looking at around $400 in parts and an AC recharge. Not too bad. And all easy things to do really for me. The bumper looks like it'll be interesting to take off but not bad. It caved the condenser in and split the bottom rows.


Worst part is I have to do all this work outside in the dirt haha

So it's settled, the racoons is tougher than the Honda.
