Why wont you see it on 35s? im looking at a long term transition, could be this year or next but certainly planning ahead. the 35s will be burned off in either case so keep dreaming

Nothing broke, just a desire for more range and more room. end goal is van, considering an intermediate full size in the mean time.

I have a new car coming in this week i need to prep for sale, VW is already for sale, so it isnt going to be quick.

 

i mean, the lust is strong for that, but even then, we dont have anything that can tow a rig on a trailer so that isnt in the cards, now. basically i feel ive built this tacoma to be the ultimate truck for us, but there really isnt anything else to do that i can deem reasonable. regear? sure could make a bit better performance. LT? wont change the fact im neutered by having a tent on the truck. SAS? i have already built it to capabilities beyond what i use it for. It isnt like i've maxed out its current capabilities. short term is to get a bigger truck and keep using the tent. If i make that happen green truck will return to DD and return-ish to stock form.

 

My batteries are still in decent shape so it's not as bad as all that. You gotta realize that these have been near perfect since new. So little things I see sometimes are noticeable. An example is how long it takes for the ML-ACR to unlatch. Sometimes its a matter of seconds after the engine is shut off. A desulfating session with the cTek charger corrects that for a while. But it is starting to happen more.

Nothing wrong with looking. I never said I was looking to buy a new set. What prompted what I wrote was coming across that quote in that dead group buy thread.

 

I don't know if they are still made by Northstar, but I got one of these X2 Batteries for the 4Runner a year ago and it was a branded Northstar at the time.

The spec sheet seems to imply that it still is (and the image even shows "Northstar"), but obviously it'd be worth checking based on what you've uncovered already.
