I've had ones in the past that were not 1:1 for wires and colors. My Pontiac comes to mind. This being in a Ford I'm not confident it will be much better.

There's always some unused, but as long as the ford didn't have a premium audio system with an amp in it youll have no issue. I can tell you what you need if you tell me model and year, i have access to wiring diagrams

    It's a ford. So can't be good.

    Hope it's not a Kraptor.

    Frame bending machines.

I had a friend that bent two frames on two different ones. Wasn't even doing that much with it on the second one. 1st one he was asking a bit much of it.

not very practical. Too big, too expensive, too bro-ish.

edit: IMO, you wouldn't look good in a flat billed hat.

certainly too wide. I love the photo at the visitor center of one trying to go through the devils squeeze on elephant hill. It made it. But not will all it's paint..hahaha

Yes ours do too no doubt. But the raptor was just bigger so empty it would bend. Think it was the 1st gen? V8 ones. no idea if it ever got fixed in other versions or not.

I also hate the sound of the v6 f150s. Our neighbor has one is constantly uses the remote start which is annoying by itself of other reasons, but man it just doesn't sound very good IMO.

Wide brimmed boonie hat, in camo with a string...

This has you written all over it. But they'd run you outa the raptor league if you wore something like this while driving one of them kraptor things.

I'm sure if you spit on it it'll fit. The first gens had a weak spot in the frame. That was corrected for the second gen. The third gens fixed the terrible exhaust and it sounds better. Much in the sense that getting stabbed is better than getting shot.
Now that's a good look. Don't like the camo though, would lose my hate everywhere. Are the aviators optional?

a quick googlefoo shows they never really fixed it from the factory. There are lots of aftermarket options to address it though. So long as your are leasing and can weld on it you'll be fine. But that'd be by first mod for sure.

lol is stabbed better than shot? Hmm..haha

The DMH-W4660NEX is still a 6.8” capacitive touch screen. I’m running an Alpine CDE-HD149BT in the taco which is a single DIN and it’s an awesome unit especially with the alpine inline amp. Runnin alpine type s speakers as well and its gets after it for what it is. Curious about this new ford you’re after…sounds like an older one lol. I’ve been using a Bluetooth FM Transmitter in my ford. Works pretty good! Just choose a radio station that’s usually not being used to transmit FM and match the channel on the transmitter. Depending on where you are traveling you may have to switch the channels up if there is interference. But for like $20 it’s a good alternative for a Bluetooth head unit. I’m pretty partial to fords too…

Curious how this works as crutchfield lists it as 9inch
    Screenshot_20220321-174431.jpg
Edit: I see I'm a letter off on the pt#, oops
The fm transmitter is fine, I used them many times in past vehicles. The problem is, it's only as good as your cell signal. XM is something we really enjoy having when on road and in the sticks and while it's not perfect, it's a necessity for the adventure truck.

Got the Honda running! Finally. Burped the coolant today. Finish plastic welding the bumper tomorrow since the shit HF welder tip came off after like an hour of use. The just gotta do the oil and tranny fluid and we can have 40mpg back in our lives haha

    Then get the ac recharged.

Yessir W4660. Do you use Spotify? If so you can download your music to be able to listen to offline. That’s how I maintain listening while out of service. Doesn’t use too much of the phones memory either.

    Same.

    Apple music does it too.

    And Amazon

    And tidal.

Idk why you'd want to pay for xm to listen to music and have ads still. :puke:

It's amazing what I'll do to not have ads in my life haha
