It does not appear so. I asked Gabe at SNP about this. To paraphrase, he said it was proving more difficult than anticipated so no direct support in the Elite 2000 for the A340F just yet.

 

Fixed the van stance with some spacers on the rear axle and more importantly, 285/75/16 Nittos.

No. No money for that stuff right now. Just found it funny. Plus if I ever get the little red turboed then frank is boosted already too. So I'd leave Igor as is probably.

If a different time then maybe.

 

Finally got through all the maintenance items on the new-to-us Sequoia. Its always interesting to me how it seems like some places pick and choose what fluids and things to change. Like the rear diff and transfer case fluid looked good (still a dark amber color vs black) but the front diff was past due. Transmission had been least drained and filled before and fluid looked good for having towed a decent amount. Then you get the super dark brake fluid that was clearly a few years/thousands of miles past needing to be changed.

Or best yet...they definitely got all the life they could out of the spark plugs.... They were rough coming out and one wouldnt budge with a cold engine. Luckily warming it up to temp and let it come out.



Least now I know fluid wise and visual inspection wise everything has been change/replaced

 

I get that. I feel your pain, outdoor wrenching is a thing again. I thought you bought all the pieces to turbo it. Be fun once you do it.

Sounds like they are least attempted to keep up on it which is good. Probably has tons of life let. I should check more than the oil on my truck

 

I need the haltech and the turbo itself. Probably some other odds and ends. Otherwise I have the rest. Should be fun.

 

Thought it came with a turbo, so that makes sense.

 

Nah just the hard piping for exhaust and intercooler and wild meth injection setup. Not sure I'll use that or not..

 

I've definitely seen worse so I won't complain!

I've gotten more attentive to all the fluids and crap as I got older. Guess that came with the job and seeing how fluids and greases not changed at good intervals led to issues

 

People got tired of the whine I guess, oh well. Interesting seeing a brand new one and an ancient one from the same person tho

Did you hear about your pulley setup @Digiratus im curious about that.

 

We know what's up and there are a few potential solutions.

 

Short of swapping out a complete new nose with keyed shaft, the only other option might be to modify a URD pulley. There are more details but that is most appropriate for a campfire discussion.

 

bummer. So going for a different pully maybe? Or are they just not supporting different pulleys.

 

By different, do you mean size or brand?
