Yeah I do wish ours had 1 bedroom on the main floor. Like my parents place. But whatever. I doubt this is our last house ever. And if it is. Well be doing add ons

 

Garage walls are up. Pretty spacious! Not huge and a pole will be in the middle. But 10' ceiling and plenty of room to do work. Compared to what I have now it's a huge upgrade.




And got a peak of the view from the second floor. Can stand up there on the I joists but stuck the camera up a bit. Be a nice view of Mt Wood and if we are lucky the east and west rosebud drainage.

Yeah that was very important to Devin. She hates how most modern houses are all garage doors and a tucked away front door.

 

It sounds good in principle, but you need a man door to make it work. I hate having to pop the garage every time I need to grab something out of a car, or to let people in, etc. And going out the front door and walking around is just a major inconvenience of its own. If I ever design my own garage/shop, man doors and a urinal on the wall are a must.

Oh and one of the rare times I'm home on the fourth and absolutely hate it. Should've just stayed in the woods.

 

I have a man door in the back. And a door into the house of course. And the front door is right there. And the kitchen door.

no point in a urinal in this space. Bathroom is super close. Now the shop...yes. Or honestly IDGAF and will just piss outside haha

We were out for a couple nights, did a ten mile hike, did some fishing in the rivers, but there were a lot of mosquitoes along the fork we were on, and I wasn't feeling well so we just came home last night. Still wouldn't have saved me from the warzone outside tonight.

 

ah i see what you're saying. Been okay here. Not too bad. Few big ones. Nothing awful thankfully.

 

It's ridiculous. I don't get it. Seems like a total waste to me.

 

I mean it embodies the #1 American value, "Fuck everyone else I'm going to do what I want". Can it get any more patriotic than that? Wish we could collectively change that behavior.

 

I want to believe that change is possible.

 

4th of July needs to go back to it's roots. It's not supposed to be a pro-america holiday, it's supposed to be an anti-british holiday.

welp covid got me. Traveled to a weddign this weekend in Maryland. Stuck home now. Feel ok mostly. tired and congested.

Ha no kidding. Slept a lot today. Hopefully don't have to do that as much later this week.

Felt like shit this morning. I have a bunch of at home tests so took one since I'd just traveled. Hoped it was just a cold but nope.

 

I am under the impression that you can't get COVID if you don't get tested. My allergies are so bad this year there's no way I would ever know.

 

The good news is...
