I know it’s sad to say, but I’ve considered listing my ‘02 Taco with 198k, in Jackson for 50k. I feel like it would appeal to the trust fund kids desperate for street cred and validation. Who knows I just might get it. At any rate it’s probably time to thin my herd.

 

Probably get 13-15k I'd imagine if it's clean.

I bet $10k is more realistic based on comps I've seen. Market is a lot softer today than it was a year ago.

 

For 1st gen double cabs? Idk. Those things are always in high demand seems like.

 

I missed that, thought it was a extra cab. Then yeah there is a bit more of a premium there.

It’s a single cab and in any rational world it wouldn’t fetch more than 9k. But there is nothing rational about Jackson, lots of people with Bugatti budgets but craving acceptance in what’s left of the outdoor culture. All really just conjecture though, every time I think about selling it I realize I wouldn’t be able to stomach the cost of replacement when I have regrets down the road. My wife will just have to deal with the driveway looking like a used car lot in the meantime

would be at least 50k, any normal SUV or 1/2 ton pickup starts at 80k anymore, 100k for a 3/4 or 1 ton diesel. And the waiting list would be at least 3yrs long, people will literally pay anything for nostalgia.

 

They are planning on a smaller unibody truck to compete with the maverick.

 

Needs to be built on the rav hybrid platform and cost less than $25k to compete. That's why the maverick is killing it. A practical and efficient truck at that price point is a home run as ford is learning. It's more than enough truck for suburbia, would do everything my green truck does around town but get better than 13mpg lol reality is, I don't think Toyota can/will hit the price point, it'll be $35k, it will sell well but fail to be as desirable because of it.

Agreed but people think subarus are robust (spoiler they're trash) so they'll sell well. I really like the little maverick's styling but it's pretty useless if you already own a truck, SUV, and trailer

Saw this in another thread. 40F temp drop in very short period.


We manage to stay a balmy 8F over night. Friend in Bozeman is seeing -50F with the wind-chill.

 

-50 here this morning with wind chill. -26 ambient. Been cold.

Up to the 40s by Saturday and Sunday. So almost 70° temp swing in 3 days. Classic haha


Probably not the best time to be painting a house.

Yeah sis is stuck in northeast Mt/north Dakota. All flights grounded and interstate is shut down.

The widows are frozen haha thankfully paint is okay. Did disrupt some of our plan though.
