I wouldn't be worried about it being to skinny if they are like my "10.5" wide ones. I think they are closer to 11 really.

What are you running in 35x11.5

 

Yeah they’re probably really close, I didn’t feel like I had the same flotation with 255/85.

I have trail graps in 35x11.5r17 C load range

 

C load. Awesome. These are D I think. And mostly fine. C is the best though.

 

Good to know. The problem is these wear so well I'm many years away from replacing them. Once I fix the ride I may jump to an AT and pray the yokies are worth something used.

 

Put them on the van. There are buildings that weigh less than that thing, I'm sure it can wear them down.

 

Would require cutting the cab corners. The U-joint kit pushes the axle forward enough to run 35s but the Quigley doesn't. Otherwise it would've happened already lol

 

Ah bummer, it would look proper on some 35s...

 

these are super aggressive for an AT. Near a MT honestly just lots of siping. The photos don't look like they are aggressive but in person they really are.

 

@Digiratus, every time I think I’m done with FAA testing life finds a way to pull me back in. My boss decided to get his license, so once again I turn to Gleim test prep to get my CFI, probably end up with all three before all is said and done, I’m scratching my head trying to remember…did you retire? At least he got a cool bird to learn in

Yup. Forced out when covid happened. There were a few of us that were considered superfluous when we were all sent home to try to work from there.

It was mere coincidence we were the ones paid the most.

 

Sorry about the “questionable” circumstances of your retirement, that’s shitty… I’d threaten to use the competition, but since Gleim got me through my first 5 ratings I’m hesitant to reinvent the wheel. Hope retirement has involved a lot of cool wheeling opportunities…

 

Yeah, it was uncool at the time. Everybody likes to feel appreciated and this didn't feel that way. But in the long run, they did me a favor. Retirement is cool and I'm having fun with it.

Well this is slightly embarrassing, trying to figure out why I thought you worked for Gleim. Not that I can really boycott ASA either, have to have a copy of the the practical test standards for each checkride too and they pretty much have that market cornered.

 

Flooring is mostly in. Cabinets too. Kitchen is looking good.

It's an all stock '98 4x4 with a v6 and 5 speed.
