I bet. My view is a lot less desirable haha but we did spend the long weekend putting in a fence and retaining wall so at least it's a bit nicer place to be.

Little further than that. When the construction goes away it's around 45-55min depending on where you're going. So not bad at all.

Nice work. Bushes look much better. Fence also looks much nicer.

Something like that. Set in concrete with true 2x4 stringers and fir planks that are rough cut to 1" thick. it's a solid fence, although if you push on it the posts flex a bit. Not going to complain as my FiL brought all the material down from CDA and has been helping us get it done.

I don't know if all of you follow the transformation the green truck is under but this weekend was the most "am I doing what I really want to do" moment. I plan to swap the wheels over to the smaller tire but so far this is a big change that is going to take some time to stomach. Tires, suspension and sliders are gone.

All in prep for the LS swap. Shooting for 100mph in the quarter mile. The wight and 35s would be fighting against me, not to mention, 100mph on mid tires would be sketchy.

LT for what, trips to home Depot? I haven't wheeled the truck in a year and just don't have the social group local for it. I've done the wheeling thing, time to do something different with the truck. Anymore it's just used as a truck to haul shit from point A to point B. It's a fun project to me with plenty of challenges. Will it be super fast? Nope. Do I care? Nope. I've said it before, 400hp, 5spd 4x4 will be a fun little truck around town.

Same reason I wish to turbo my single cab and put AWD in it. Probably give your truck a run actually if I ever did it due to it being 1000lbs lighter.
