It's been a while.... but I'm back. Just picked up an FJ transfer case so I can twin stick it. Cheaper than regear to split 1st gear for the wife. Also picked up a dash so I can replace mine that has a hole in it passenger side.

 

yeah no doubt been a while.

Your twin sticking to avoid a diff regear? Not sure how that is supposed to offset a diff regear..

 

2low to start moving, shift to 2hi and go through rest of gears like normal. Just use it to split 1st or reverse. Stock gears, 35s, heavy, racing clutch, light weight flywheel make it hard for her to get it moving. Also have a steep driveway approach into garage.

I'm not certain you can shift from low to high while moving though..

 

You can, just not vice versa.

 

So give me a 2 year summary of what I have missed...

 

Frank is still broken, but has more cobwebs than two years ago.
