Well sir, I struggle to drive up obstacles while simultaneously taking third person pictures of it. Only stopped here cause the frame was holding me on the rock.

Update from me: truck is dead. Electrically. Was struggling to crank each morning the night was below zero. Got the AMG put back together then hitched a ride to get the truck and haul a load, left it out front with the flashers on for a few minutes and it was no start from there. Had to solo jump the damn thing and then moved it to its new parking space.so the truck needs a new battery and new terminals. It's no surprise as it has had electrical woes for years and the cables Zane made me would likely solve it. @Speedytech7 do I have to open any looms or will I be able to unbolt and bolt in the new cables?

Good news I'm in my own place now, have a place for both cars and an awesome "yard" to run the dogs off leash. A couple months from now we will have a lot more clarity on the situation but I have to say I'm feeling good and things are looking up

To do it cleanly, yes I would open the looms, but you can install it just by zip tying it to the existing loom and hooking it up instead of the existing wiring. Be careful tightening the terminals, tighten them just tight enough so that they don't twist on the battery terminal, no tighter.

I'll have to see how doable that is. Will be a parking lot job so limited.

12mm, 10mm, maybe some zipties, all you need. Pulling fender skirts up or skids would make it a cakewalk

Fender skirts have been gone for many years. Skid would help with the starter wire I'm sure. What does the third wire go to?

To the fuse box, but you can skip it if you're short for time, it's an easy replacement tho.

Still just waiting, things look good, but no signs of it kicking off yet. If we get to 41 weeks which will be next Friday they will induce, but for now just letting nature do it's thing. If you guys make it over here let me know and I will come say hi, haven't had enough time to make it your way yet.

Blah, thermostat stuck open on the Mercedes. This car is really beating me up lately. Might as well get it done while I still have access to the garage.
