Damn. Was afraid of that. Drive through some rain but didn't seem to do much. My biggest weather event though was fog. Super super thick in Yellowstone and outside Bozeman. Was interesting. Hadn't seen that before doing that drive.

@Speedytech7 ya done lied to me! Lightroom does not work without the cloud storage still. So LRc for me still.

It absolutely does, just switch the tab on the left to local

 

Everything I've read says it still uploads everything to cloud storage no matter what.

 

It does not, it stores it all in a local XML file, and it even tells you as much in the help docs. You and Ben must've went to the same primary school, you two and reading things

maybe about the cloud mode sure, but switch to local and I assure they aren't storing them in the cloud... because they charge for that kind of thing you know they're not in the business of giving away more space for free. The advantage of the not outdated Lr is that it leverages cloud processing (and it still gets regular feature updates), but that's just to carry out the edits, the storage is on your computer if you're working in local mode.

By all means use LrC still, but sooner than later you'll be migrated, LrC is a dead fork of the Lr product.

My photos are looking quite soft. I think my focus is off or my sensor needs cleaned.

 

The "preview" in Lr is usually a bit soft too cause its a rough render... export one at full quality real fast just to double check it isn't that.

 

Coat still smells of campfire. So awesome.

 

Got in the truck today to go to the carwash. Smells like campfire in there.

edit: Spent $14 with the pressure washer wand to get that mud concrete off. I'm sure I didn't get it all underneath.

 

I haven't been but it snowed/sleeted all weekend. Melted today away. But most has seemed to fallen off on my driveway haha doesn't seem like it should be too bad to get off?

 

Supposed to rain here later this week so hoping it's a deluge and I can't just drive my van around till it all comes off

 

Ok Mike I tried making potatoes last night but I am not great. Yellow onion and yellow potatoes, but by the time I had the potatoes cooked and crispy the onion had turned black and burnt/crunchy. What did I do wrong?

 

Probably too high heat too fast. And waited to long before putting potatoes in.

That said some of the onions should blacken but not burn to a crisp.


Also, don't forget the strawberry sour cream and brown sugar!
