I've done a mod or two
My regular outdoor rated rubber mat skirts also disintegrated... the EPDM ones @drr is making sound more promising.

I have a copy of it, but I think it’s for the original splash guard size, which I find is insufficient. I oversized my last set to completely enclose the coil bucket, and went from the front frame horns to the body mount. I’ll size these ones the same, using my old ones as a template.

Seemed like none of the 3 or so versions that are sold had good reviews, people reporting between 1 and 5 years before they rip. It doesn’t look like any of them are reinforced (which I can understand, it’s more expensive and hard to cut)

    Thanks!

Nice. Are you going to have any sheeting left over? I'd be happy to take it off your hands and leave some green in yours. I really only need enough for the right rear, OEM size; I still have my old one I can trace and create a replacement of...

Yeah, I saw those. A bunch of folks said they disintegrated within a year or two. There's also a set on amazon, but I have a hard time thinking that anything on amazon is really "great."

Well to be fair, I have no idea when I put the ones I have on Igor on. But they are doing fine. Has to have been at least 4-5 years at this point. Think I got them when I did the ADS shocks. Which was right before our trip in UT with Brent, Brett, and Heather where we did all the hiking and ruin site seeing.

I wont have much left over, I think it sizes nicely that both sides can be cut out of one 36”x36” sheet.
I’ll fit them tightly together and see how much is left, you’re welcome to it.

Isn't EDPM not great with hydrocarbons?

It's usually what most OEM rubber parts are jacketed with (radiator hoses, timing belts... etc)

As a seal or something that has to contain oil/fuel, it’s not good as it will absorb and swell. But as long as your truck isn’t leaking oil like crazy all over the splash guards, should be fine.

Sounds good. Let me know even if you don't have much/enough, and I'll just order some and make my own.

I’ll make a template, I think @Digiratus wanted to do this as well.

I have those guards since '19 as well and they're holding up besides a few small splits around one or two of the push pins.

Yeah I think mine might be doing better than others because the ADS Piggy back mount holds up a huge section of it. So less stress on the other mounts?? Idk.
