Well you need to have a lot of money and a situation where that thing could possibly be more than an absolutely useless waste of space. Alaska is like the perfect place for it. Daddy need to have a lot of money and be really dumb which I suppose a lot of the time that happens too

 

It needs to go somewhere without trees. It has AC in the box so I think it's a desert rig more than anything. It's kinda cool, well built but certainly seems like a rich man's toy to show off to his buddies the one time they go camping.

 

Is that an F550? Diesel?

Yeah it's a gorgeous area just 2.5 hours from home. It's over 6k in elevation so it's a good spot to beat the heat. Had to use the dehaze tool to bring the detail out in the mountains but overall I dig the way the set of photos came out. Certainly finishing the photos with more contrast and color than I used to but I really like it.

The market is that small sliver of folks who have money and want something flashy to show off to their friends for when they go "roughing it" once a year. Obviously not going to resonate with the folks here. To me it's like an exotic car, I can see it, appreciate it, enjoy what it is, regardless of its ridiculous and unaffordable.

 

It's kinda neat from a build perspective, I'm sure a lot of thought went into how to go about creating something so obnoxious. Like I think it would be really fun to make, and I think it would be really fun to sell (I'm sure they sell themselves, you won't sell anyone on this thing and even if you could most don't have the money). On the other hand, it's kinda like creating a AI powered cactus made of used HIV positive needles, sure you've made something unique, but what good is it?

 

This picture is interesting, it is running hub adapters to semi truck 10 lug... a 45" tire still driven by the baby Ford manual hub is pretty laughable, says a lot about how this should be used.

I mean it's well built, quality build. It's the whole just because you can doesn't mean you should. Honestly it would be a sweet setup for hiding out in the desert for a couple weeks at a time. I'm sure there's a buyer, it ain't me put it on 37s and it would be much better.

I'm not sure to be honest. Being an F550 I believe they are 10lug from the factory vs the f250-f350 getting 8lugs.

It's "might not fit under all bridges" tall while we didn't get an overall height, I'll bet it's pushing over 12ft. We did weigh it and my van, as expected my van was just at/under 10k. That thing weighed just under 20k.

 

Do you know who the builder is? Seems pretty comparable to an earthroamer. I'd bet that 6.7L would come alive with 37s on it.

 

I think it's adventure mobile? Supposedly they are built better than the ER. I haven't been around an ER but I didn't see anything on this rig that looked half assed.

 

Boy Venice really put on a few lbs

 

I don't know what the price point is for one of these, but at $1M+, an ER better be top notch in quality.

 

The boys were no where to be seen when we set up camp, camp down during the golden hour and boy they were curious about Venice. She behaved herself, didn't chase them or anything. She was nose to nose with a heffer at one point
