Leafs are probably on the list of things to look at too. Hard to say really, all that weight up high is just a lot to manage. I'm tempted to throw the sway bar at it first, found a bolt on kit for $400. I'll be curious how it feels in the dirt this next week. Felt much better on the road though.

Ah yes, I want a different airbag setup. Even just taller bags that would allow me to level the van with would be awesome.

 

What's the diameter of the sway bar. You need a pretty thick one to actually make a difference on that thing and some fairly strong sway mounts

 

Pffff. I'm going to swap a new radiator, fan clutch and lbj in like Wednesday and Thursday maybe haha

And remount the tranny cooler.

Definitely need to do the radiator. Went up oh my God this weekend and hit 220 with the heat on. Tranny hit 235. Was hot and steep. Did fine the rest of the weekend but didn't do a lot of driving. Woodchuck pass to moraine Creek. Kicked it for the day. Was nice.

Yeah usually. Haha I've been gratefully using it more this summer than I have in years so been keeping up on it mostly. Which helps.

I'm proud of myself. Three camp trips in July alone this year. Can't say I've done that in years..

 

Idk I just googled Ford e350 rear sway bar and a bunch of kits popped up. Made the me tal note that they are available and then took Venice to the brewery

It just has shown signs for a while now during the last couple summers it needs replaced. Hell far as I know it's the original radiator minus about 30k when I had the champion radiator. No doubt plugged full of mud.

But has a few cracks on the top tank juuuuust starting to weep. So it's time.

Shouldn't be hard to get down in an evening.

 

Haha I wasn't worried about it, it was warm oil, but coolant temps were spot on. I noticed with the old C63 that the oil gets warm. Google says that synthetic oils can take a LOT of temperature before they degrade so I'm not worried. But man, it was a great way to say good bye to the car. Already regretting it

 

I just made some salsa for you chums. So if you want, bring along the stuff you like to have with it.

Honest question, should we do more than one breakfast? I really enjoy our group meals and would love to do more than the last day. Always had a somber time to it when we do it at the end.

Somber? Funerals are somber. How about nostalgic or sentimental?

It is like a funeral, saying goodbye to the good times. Reminiscing on the adventure that was. Yes somber is the right word.

Eggs and toast is cool for a breakfast or two. I can do carnitas and we can figure it out. Or Devin wants to bring chorizo so breakfast tacos will happen one way or another.

Mike and I will get there around 4pm Montana time. Looks like fuel is in Anaconda, didn't see anything in Opportunity. Monte is thinking he'll be there 1-2pm I believe he said.
