It gets thinner then a regular RTT matress. We run one in my RTT and its been great. Just use a flextail USB air pump. Pretty durable as well as my aussie sleeps up there with us and has yet to pop it.

Ouch, just replaced my bearings with your write up and recommendation from 303 shocks. Need to rebuild my ADS here soon.

Cool, glad you were able to use Tim at 303. I've been through a lot of spherical bearings and it's not really that hard to keep up on them, just got complacent this time because I was waiting to do the swap along with some other front-end work. Lesson learned, and hopefully swapping the rod ends won't be too bad. Turned out that the parts are only $100 or so, so assuming I can swap them out, not that expensive a mistake.

In Moab area for a few days. Strange without a rig but still plenty to do with the fam! Brings back rock therapy memories! Hiked in dome plateau trail a bit on the way in. Have a good week y'all. IMG_20240812_104733144_HDR.jpg

Nah not really, some clouds and pop up storms kept it below 90 ish today. Made for some cool views and lightning shows. Kids did great. Hitting arches for sunrise tomorrow despite some threat of rain. Busy in town!

Yeah drones are fun. They are so easy to fly and have decent cameras on them now too.

Sad day. My parts 4runner I really wanted sold. Was a limited with the AWD tcase. Plus could have snagged the AC, power doors/windows and crotch vent for the dailly off it too. And other spare parts all around.

    Oh well.

Yeah the cost is a big issue for me, they aren't cheap, but I may just bite the bullet on the ones I saw and DJI for $500ish. Need to do more research of course.

And bummer, but you waited way too long on that one

Devin was very against it haha So was trying to ease my way into it. Shame. Would have given me a lot of nice parts for all 3 trucks. Oh well.

Nice. Will squeeze that into the story. I already had a whole blurb about how many we all ate, hahaha.

Thanks! I usually don't use the drone that much, since usually I've way overscheduled us and so I don't want to take the time to get it out, land it, etc., but it got a lot more use this trip since we had so much more down time/slow travel. (which I enjoyed; the laid-back trip was fun)

hahahah, sounds like how our 4Runner went. She was like, "I don't think we really need that, I like my Audi," but I eventually bought it anyway. Then, I could never get her to drive it, then the one time she did, someone hit it (after she parked it), and then she was done driving it for good. Luckily, it was in the used car bubble, so I ended up selling it for 2x what I paid.

    Ah yes, marriage.
Slower trips are my jam now. No longer desire to try to see it all. The one long driving day we did do was not as enjoyable as the lazy days we had.

Well this one was half wrecked. Would never rebuild it to drive it. I was working on the "I want to make my DD as fun and comfortable and long lasting as possible as I know I'll be buying you a brand new car in the next few years" speech hahaha but oh well. Time slipped by.

I havne't been in that area as much. If it's easy to get to then I'd assume it'll be busy.

It probably only took so long because we had to go slow...:D :luvya:

I like both styles. But naturally if Devin is with me and both dogs, the driving gets...old for everyone. If it was just me and Padfoot. Fuckin lets drive! But also depends on the roads. There was one road that was just annoying bumpy that gets to me over time. The kind where you aren't going slow even to be fun in a pick you line way but not fast enough to be having fun going fast. That shit gets old for me.

Although that's when I really want the LT which would probably make me not hate it.

Yeah I don't feel like spending mile after mile beating up myself or my rig. There was a bit of that from trying to keep up, if I was solo I would've just cracked a beer and taken my time :anonymous:

Yes. That road is just difficult enough to keep a lot of people out, but I would expect it to still be busy labor day weekend. And I recall there being only 2 good campsites at the lake.

Catch some grayling for me if you end up there!
