I'm guessing you are referring to a possible knee replacement. I forgot we had that discussion. Yeah, the old joint is hanging in there for the most part. Once in a while it reminds me but so far it isn't bad enough to warrant replacing it. I get around fine and can still enjoy my daily walks pain free.

 

Based on Dan... Let's shoot for the week before, 4/26-5/4. Should mean you don't need to change dates then.

Why do you al days have to be the difficult one?

DV was great weather as well. mid-60s during the day, 40s at night.

Mid 60s here but probably in the low 30s tonight. Plenty warm.

 

Yep, those work for me give or take a day on the front end. That may work out fine though, since I'll be flying down, so don't have as long a haul to get there.

Finals week for devin. So not great for her. I can do it though. Same story for the week after for Devin. She doesn't know when her recital is scheduled yet so but unknowns. 11-17th guarantees her being there.

She wants to go but not gonna be too upset if she can't make it. So not sure it's worth moving dates.

Yeah Devin probably can't do that week. And might not be able to the week of May 3rd. Don't know yet.

 

I'm just waiting for Kelsey to be able to check her pto at work tomorrow. Then ill know if we can plan to make it for whatever week. We'd love to go, but we'll just have to see if its feasible

 

I hear that, so by pulling it in a week it seems to accommodate the most drivers yeah?

Also having a bit of a development on my end. Might have three dogs in this trip. Parents found a couple of dogs dumped out in the farmland today and well one of em might be earmarked for me. Look like great Pyrenees pups.



But on that I found a cool road that has some really awesome geology along it and quite a few fantastic camping spots. Best part is it leads pretty much to that epic burger joint I raved about previously so it's definitely going on the route for when we do a NM trip.

 

Definitely great Pyrenees. Did they look for owners? Usually the breeders for those are pretty careful about where they go. They are great dogs but extremely protective (obviously as that's their job). I used to want one but after meeting several on various jobs. No thanks. They don't like anybody but there people. Didn't seem like a good choice for a family dog. Certainly not for you in a city. No offense.

Plus your apartment is gonna feel tiny with two big ass dogs haha

 

They were in the middle of no where. Seems like an odd breed to dump but they were definitely out there for a bit. Matted fur, wary, definitely hungry.

I had Znuni who was half Pyrenees, so I'm familiar with the breed. But I think as with all things how you raise em makes a big impact so the more you socialize em the better they are. Trust me, I dismissed it after a while, but then I got more pictures, my parents want to keep on and well, if I keep the other then they will be able to see each other a few times a year. Timing sucks, really don't need another dog right now but we will find out in the next few days what's gonna happen. Cute as hell pups tho

Well. Middle of no where is not uncommon. They generally get raised with herds of sheep, goats, or cows even. And left to live out in the boonies. Usually get checked on every few days with fresh food. So doesn't surprise me they found them out in the middle of no where. Most I've met are like that. Just hope they didn't accidently steal some pups haha

 

I hear what you're saying. I wasn't there, but I doubt you ran into them at only a couple months old out in coyote territory with no collars lol a full grown Pyrenees, that's different.

 

No can't say I did with puppies. But do know they start em young. So who knows. So long as they do their due diligence to put the world out that they found them. If no one claims them then fair game I say.
