My powerplant actually has too much power.... I have the studio 1747.. I got this thing back in 2010 and i got the i7 with 8gb ram and integrated graphics

This thing is great except it like to go into melt down.... Does alot of random reboots with no error messages. I am on my 2nd screen, 3rd fan, 2nd HD, 4th motherboard, and second processor..... all replaced under warranty. Lets just say i keep renewing the warranty. I also need to call dell and get another motherboard. Starting to do the random reboot more and more again.

I can have someone at my house in 48hrs with the parts in hand to fix it here at my house just by placing a phone call.

I am happy with my asus. Works like a champ. A little slow when working on projects 4000px or bigger. My next one will be something a bit more custom.

Lol! That sucks. Ive had my 420s since 2010 and have had zero problems. Lenovos are the bomb and part of it is how tidy you keep your digital space ;)

I really don't know the point of a writing contest. I think its the new mod trying to show he can contribute something :notsure:. I am just waiting to see if the prize is worth it. I would understand if the magazine you been writing for had done this contest.

I think a photo contest would be more appropriate for the TW community.

but yea maybe your right. Idk..kinda odd..I have done enough write ups and reviews. Not sure this will be worth it.

Well yeah but new to TW. It would have to be one heck of a prize for me to try anything. It takes to long and far to much effort to write anything decent. I figured you could just submit one of the articles or quickly make a summary of all 3.

Any of you guys know how much it should cost to have gears installed? I called one shop today and they quoted $800. Soon as I said ARB Air locker the guy got all chipper though which made me cautious. I searched and got answers from $100 - $250 per axle all the way to guys paying 2k in labor.

Varies by shop. Most arou d 3-500 tho. Guys quoting you 2k are probably assuming you'd by parts from them.

    That's per diff usually.

Got to learn somehow. Heck i have learned alot in that garage of mine. Supercharger install, cam gears, wheel bearing, steering linkage, timing belt, adjusting timing, I have a girl that i might replace a head gasket for, I will be porting and polishing an intake, and lots of wiring..... Best way to learn is just do.
