No lockers, no sliders, lots of skinny pedal instead of pulling the winch. I cracked my slider at the same spot. But he made it through which was very impressive if you ignore the fact it's now a 3 door.

5250 for me. 5750 for Mike this trip.

Only that nose dive off of that ledge, but I think the skids took the brunt of that impact. :anonymous:

I'll have you know that she was 'only' 5700 this trip.

Did it happen at that spot you had to prove to Monte that you dropped down? Or at the sloppy spot here?

Mostly just inexperience. And I think he got 'sped up' seeing the success of all the others. If he had been further up the order (middle or front position) it might have been a different outcome.

Monte, did you get your Kenda Klevers installed? 33x10.5r17 right? I am considering a 2nd set of wheels. I was very impressed with Ryan's.

Agree, if the rack slipped internally I'm pretty sure it would have broken a tooth.

    That exact spot.

Are you carrying around lead? You truck doesn't appear that obese. How was the new tent?

There wasn't much to hit the skids on but it happened so fast who knows.

Interesting that big rock in the foreground is gone. The next one up has had more erosion and was a diff eater. We all took a line hugging the right side which worked well. Your image makes the actual ledge seem small compared to my mind's eye. Must be because you can't see the undercut bottom from that image.

    Gold actually.

The jury is still out. The mattress is too firm, but I am spoiled on that front. There is still a learning curve involved so time will tell more.

I’m guna try and get it pulled out so I can use 4/4 doors and then bedline the bottom of the doors. Then get some sliders. Until then it’s strictly a grocery getter, I learned my lesson.

No hopefully this week. I bolted it back together so I can take it to powell to pull the engine. So will see. That's good to hear though. I have no idea what to expect from them.

    But yes 33x10.5r17.

Second set huh? So ATs and MTs? What would be the factor to decide when to use what? Winter? or trip based?

And you got a new tent? What kind?

    ooooo painful man.

I am looking for a compromise tire, either an AT or RT. Trying to find a lighter tire that is either C or D. So far, the only possible downside to the Klever RT is they are E rated.

The new tent is an Alpha II. Think iKamper Mini but without the iKamper premium price tag.

Have you considered the ST/Maxx? My current set have 50K on them, with life left (I had a bad alignment for the first set). I have no traction complaints, and they are very well behaved on the highway. Quiet too (compared to Duratracs, and I'm sure compared to your Pros).

Downside is that they are E, as per usual.

The world is telling you to go with the Kenda's in 35x10.50 load range D. :D

Probably the next set of tires for my 2nd gen.
