Its something I feel like I should learn though. If I am going to dish out $800+ on a bumper I think I should understand what I am paying for and the skills that goes into it. So while up front costs might be more, what I get out of it would be worth it. Plus if I had a welder I could make a power rack for the gym as well as other nifty things. I could probably find a used on from a techer on craigslist probably.

Cause where are you going to store a welder, gase, and tools for everthing while living out of a truck? plus..210v is the way to go for welding too..so...yea..

and why not? seemed like it was gonna work out fine.

After figuring out a minimum cost of gas per month, increased food cost, storage unit for my things, and parking costs I am not far from rent...if not at rent for a small 2 bedroom with a roommate :(.

I buy in bulk now, cook in large quantity, and then freeze it. Then I know I would eat out a lot more just because the ease of it.

Lol well I am looking into cutting costs. Otherwise I am spending the same amount of money, plus cost of a shell, and racking miles up on the truck.

They mean something to MT tires though :p. Right now I put less than 10k a year on my truck. At a very minimum, assuming I drive exactly 20 miles a day, it would be 7600+ whatever I drive now.

I have plans if living out of the truck doesn't work. Ill just save up and take summer 2015 to go visit all my old military buddies and do random TW meets. It would be 20x a better experience too.
