I want to look into an electric cutout when I get around to exhaust. I like it quite when cruising, especially since I run about 2700+ rpm on the freeway, but it would be nice to have it louder when I want it louder:cool:

    That first video.

I am not a fan of loud trucks. I like just a low rumble. My bike was stupid loud and while it was fun I started to hate it after a mile.

I too enjoy a good rumble. My 2 stroke was stupid loud before i put a new FMF silencer on it. Made it much more tolerable to ride for more than an hour lol.

No needs to be a 97 with the exact same stuff as you.

    so a 97 5vzfe auto 4x4.

    Just plugs in.

Slap on a SC and your done.

Lets talk CO2 again. I need to get things ordered so I can run the locker when it gets here.

I think I am going to run a 20oz CO2 tank in cab using a basic toggle switch. According to power tank this will last a very long time. The guy on the phone said the guys that really get out there bring 2 bottles just for safe measure but the average joe would never use that much. Now, I have 2 of these in Sheridan...but after reading on beer forums they all suggest going to a 2.5lb bottle because in the long run its cheaper and doesn't have a pin valve.

I WILL be getting a larger tank in the future for tires/air tools but figured this would be a great option for now while I continue to wait out a deal on craigslist that I don't have to drive a few hours for.

I know I need a regulator and the switch...but that should be it right?

Yea you can run small tanks for back ups. But try and find ones that don't have stem valves for flow. They will last a lot longer then you'd think.

i would NOT have the tank in the cab...ever..period. that is just asking for trouble. Keep it in the bed. If you not okay with that..get a compressor.

You'll need a regulator as ARBs need 80-90psi and while they get tested to 120..you shouldn't run more then that. You'll need to plumb the lines for it all of course and have a solenoid for the CO2/air which may come with the locker..think it does..not sure though..

then just a switch for the solenoid and your done.
