Same thing as any other CO2 tank. Just has the pin valve...which you can swap for an on/off valve for the ease of things.

I am not paying for a power tank...I wouldn't even pay them for a 20lb tank.

I am just looking for an option to use something I already have for cheap while waiting out a used tank

So if I can get a tank with an on off switch and with a regulated pressure at 70-90 ( or whatever arb needs), all I would have to do is turn the tank on to engage the locker and then turn the air off to disengage? I could do that for cheap until a bigger than showed up.

    No.

You need a pnumatic switch or solenoid cause if you just turn the tank off..the line will still be pressurized. no bleed off.

also..that would be a major PITA.

just do it right and get it over with you big nancy haha

O right, switch. That too. Still easier for me and cost effective over a large tank. I am not going to buy a new 10-20lb tank...just not worth it when I can pick up a used one far cheaper.

So get that before you wire up the locker. Just cap off the ARB line from the diff till you can get it setup right.

I am not sure why you are so against the idea of using a small tank while waiting out a better deal on a used tank. $15 adapter to connect it to a normal regulator...that can be used on the bigger tank as well. Thats it. $15 difference between a 20oz tank and a 20lb tank...You don't even need the on off switch for the small tank...just connect it when you need it and disconnect it when you get home.

your going to drive all the way home and such locked??

Im not against it really. But having it inside is bad..and doing it half assed is bad cause you will never fix it once you do it. How it always goes with everyone..haha

No, still just going to do air switches. I am saying that all that would be different between a 20oz tank set up and a 10-20lb tank is the adapter. I can test the locker and make sure everything is working and in the mean time just look around. I don't want to drive 3 hours to pick up a used tank. Defeats the savings.

Air switch are 50 bucks a pop. You get the wiring harness switch and ARB solenoid with your locker...Why not use that??

Electrical work sucks :p. Far easier to screw up wiring and have it short out on the trail or something.

No its not. Just solder stuff right mount it right and loom it right and you'll never have an issue.
