I tried. I don't want to dig the tripod out but I can't hold steady enough for it. Had someone mentioned it around 5pm or so I would have went out to get a sweet shot.

I won't argue with that lol the few slightly modded yotas that live here don't even realize what they have, i've waved at 2 different taco's and a nice 4 runner but they just look at me like i'm a dumbass. I'm slowly becoming a lone ranger up here :spy:

It's pretty hard to avoid it. You search any kind of mod for a tacoma and it will be either TW or TTORA. Unless it's bone stock or just has a super gay bumper I assume they have been here.

I didn't post much either. I joined when I started looking for my truck because I had been with forums in the past and knew they were the best way to do research. Then after I bought my truck and started dreaming I saw Montes unmolested truck both on here and on facebook :p.

There is one guy here that checks out my truck all the time. He was drooling over Marc and I when we were driving through town

I like all the colors! I think I am going to order a small sample to wrap the raptor grill letters. Looking at the design of it I think it would mask any light pin striping we would get out here. Going outside now to scratch/rub some branches on the tailgate :)

Haha yeah. My biggest worry is that it will rip. I don't really care if I roll around with a wrap thats pin striped to hell. Which, just now I broke off a fresh pine branch and that is what we will see 90% of the time. I always stop and break off the dead branches if I see them so I won't worry about that. It did scratch BUT did not rip and the pin striping doesn't look awful. Ill get a pic in a second.

Ok, so here are some pics. I had a pretty good pressure/force while scratching so this is probably worse than it would be on the trail most of the time. The top portion of the scratches was done using only the rough pokey bark and the middle half was using a naturally brushing motion we would normally see. Those lighter pin strips don't look bad at all. On the far left you can see a good thick line, that was done using the broken end with decent pressure to see/feel if it would rip. Didn't feel like it would, actually have a pretty smooth rub to it.

The sun hides a lot of the scratches in person and from a few feet back they aren't that noticeable. Supposedly heating it up will get rid of light scratches and then there is some ways to polish it. Matte colors are kinda screwed unless you want to get some shine out of it. Ill test out the heating method with a heat gun and maybe pick up the polish stuff some other time.
