No didn't look. Probably the same. But I can switch my shutter speed and aperture with the dials on my camera. Index does shutter and thumb does aperture. Do it in seconds. Iso, one button and the index dial. Focus point, button and index dial.

    Just faster I'd think

Gotcha, the dials on the nex and Alpha are customizable but come standard for that. Gotta use just your thumb. The dial on the back is the one I don't like. I push the buttons on it when its cold and my movement is sloppy haha.

Yea mine is like semi pro level ergonomics on it so it can be used for pros. It's almost a 7d just not as nice a sensor and fast and blah blah.

Now I couldn't stand not having the buttons and dials for everything right there for me. Would drive me nuts.

Yea the dslr's are bigger and heavier but you get used to it. And didn't the cam have my mic on it? that makes it heavy and also the tripod mount on the bottom is far from a light piece of metal haha.

Sounds good. I can't wait to get out!

I don't remember if it had a the mic. Its just a big camera haha. I don't see any real benefit from a dslr over mirrorless. I carried my moms rebel around today. That is even to big for my tastes haha. I left it in the truck when I was at the lake.

I like the heft. Feels more real to me and sturdy.
