Going to the big horns to do ham radio for a 100mile horse race.

 

I am meeting Jason on Sunday in cooke city then headed near goose lake for the night.

 

I don't know if you've upgraded your rear upper control arms or not on your 2k4R. Here's what I did to mine last Sunday on MSV/CF. I snapped them both off at the same place. Thankfully though it's only going to run me $100 + 12/pk of hard cider this weekend instead of the $650 a local shop quoted me.

I've tried coming up with a non judgmental way of saying this & there just isn't. Having grown up in FtC there was/is a dirt bag concentration on the edge of town near the intersection of Co Rds 38 & 11. Fast forward 35+ yrs & the rest of South FtC has grown up around & even obscuring said concentration with most recently a strip mall with a Walgreen's, a Rustic Oven & other restaurants & retailers.

I don't know where you live in the vicinity of Harmony (38) & Timberline (11), but I would suggest that is the source of the douche bagginess.

Guess I just havent spent a whole lot of time over there, just in the theater occasionally. I lived over by the stadium.

 

Holy crap... no, I haven't upgraded those yet but "noted". I'm currently looking into electric fans as I don't want to repeat the fan into the radiator incident again during a water crossing. I may take it easy for a few weeks and get lower ball joints replaced and other misc. mx jobs complete.

And never go over 1250. Marc told me our sensors like 160,320,640,1250,2500. Something to do with the dimensions. It'll stay sharper at those settings.

That said 1250 is the magic for me. Not enough noise and plenty of stars. If your not getting enough stars, too much light pollution near by.

30' at 1250 and f4 will work great

 

fisheye's never appealed to me. I think its the distortion. Hell, the 10-22 wide open has too much of that already and it's tame compared to what that 8 mm will produce.

 

Yea just get a 10-22.

I realllly want one. Love the wide look. Could do some wicked star stuff with one. Might have to borrow your mike for one at goose...
