This is why powder coating belly armor and sliders is a waste of money IMO

Picked up '93 Taurus and 96 Thunderbird e fans today for $30. I'm really considering the T-Bird due to the larger shroud.

Looks like a good turn out for riverton! Sheridan had a pretty cool display of cars as well. I didn't have my camera but wished I had brought it :(.

My fishing trip with Jason was kinda a let down. Great company and a pretty damn good time but the fishing was just horrid. Goose was still pretty snowed in. We went a little ways in but Jason got stuck and a hiker let us know that we could only make it to round lake. We decided to not even bother with the trail and turned around. I don't think either of us felt like driving 5mph and being tossed around just to possibly fish a lake and turn around. We decided to book it to clark fork, which was beautiful up in the mountains but just a mess once we got down the canyon. We then drove to casper to fish the mile for a few days. Not bad but they were electroshocking at the same time. We stayed a few days and caught some nice fish. Ran to snowy for a day and he got skunked and I caught a rather large cutty for up there. Then we booked it to 6 mile and again...just a bad time to be fishing. The water felt like bath water it was so warm and it had rained a lot the past few days so the platte was high.

He is selling his RTT as well. Supposedly the quality has dropped since the last CVT he had. The cover ripped, his tent leaked, and he didn't even get the new fly design. He was going to go with a tepui after he sold it but I think I talked him into getting a tipi style tent as well. :D.

O and I found a pretty cool river to hike into next summer :D

Interesting Sheridan had one the same weekend! Always fun to get out and see some activity!

Bummer about the fishing man. Glad you got to meet up with Jason though. How much longer he have on his trip? I'm actually pretty stoked to see your tipi if you go that route. The stove intrigues me and would be awesome for late fall and winter camping! Crazy about J's tent... He went through hell to get it too, not like everyone else didnt but damn. Sounds like i'm gonna be happy with mine for the long run

I am pretty excited about it. Far more useful for me. Not sure why I went with an RTT for a base camp type tent but live and learn. Hopefully I can sell it pretty quick. Id be ok with getting rid of it tomorrow if someone showed up with the cash.

I am looking at a Wyoming based company for the tipi tent too. It's between Lost and Found and Kifaru.

Heres a vid showing how easy it is to set them up. It took him a little under 5 minutes to have it up to where you could jump in it and get out of the rain. Pretty good time for a ground tent.
