There's more to summer than driving a truck on dirt roads . I gotta get some new scholarship essays written up too and get back on a normal schedule for the fall semester.

Ordered some Staun tire deflators this morning. Should make airing down a tad quicker. Thinking i'm gonna order some form of onboard air within the next week or two.

Also got a warning by a HP about my license plate being in the window. Pretty stupid if you ask me, been doing it for nearly a year and no cops have given a shit yet.

Not right there. I had it ziptied to the bumper a long time ago but I need to figure something else out. I'm thinking magnets.

Yeah true. I found it funny that not a single Sheridan PO had given me shit about it. Not to mention I passed this same HP about an hour earlier and he just gave me stink eye. I guess his opportunity presented itself.

 

I have mine under the front seat. Does that count?

Magnets may allow it to come off and you not know it. Or someone could easily walk off with it. I have 2 small holes drilled in the front plate bumper so a can bolt it on when I must.

The whole idea is stupid anyway. They never run plates from the front anyway and they always get behind you before pulling you over.

 

Yeah I think it's pretty stupid too. It's not like they can't see it in the dash.

 

Dang, tough crowd. We had fun anyway. It would have been cool to have any and all of you come join us. We aren't hard to get along with, pretty easy going people.

 

I got pulled over by local police about it after 7 months. Is stupid.

I have magnets that'll work for you. I just take it off while it sits and when wheeling.

Yeah man glad you guys had a good time. Bummer none of us even made it lol I was probably the only one that really could have made it but even then I literally had no idea where I was going so I was kinda relying on Monte. On the other hand I'm still waiting on skids so maybe it's a good thing I missed this go around lol.

Yeah he must have been bored. And good deal I haven't looked but there's gotta be some good heavy duty magnets out there somewhere.

We have tons left over. Just sandwiched the plate and it's good

 

Yeah...no skids on Shoshone=major problems or mucho time spent trying to find safe lines. Every piece of armor I have got work and my driveshaft for a nice candy came stripe and my gas tank (only non-protected place) got some scratches.
